Called in for a coffee, lovely staff, but food prices are extortionate. 10 pound for a cheese and ham sandwich, there were 5 of us so 50 pound for 5 sandwiches is a no. They are served with Crisps and a side salad but still 10 pound! No milkshakes for the kids, they only serve these in the summer apparently. No menus on the tables. Anyway went for food elsewhere and just had a drink. Otherwise everything else was nice, atmosphere etc.

Lovely light spacious place with exhibitions on history of Wells' inhabitants from French conquest. Shows important kinds of employment with much fishing and shipping. More interest upstairs. Tourist information in same building with friendly, helpful staff. Attractive cards and postcards on sale. Very nice tearoom and bar there too offering delicious cakes.

Perfect little theatre space and a great pint of Wherry. A real credit to the community, close to the best fish and chips on the North Norfolk coast at French's and those fabulous, rentable beach huts, calm sands, a seal if you're lucky (we were!) and an abiding sense of restfulness. Marvellous for a moment, perfect for at least a week.

Always loved popping in here for coffee and cake on a walk but today was met with a frosty borderline rude reception by the cafe manager. Annoyed he had missed out on a larger group who had come in and left and decided to take it out on me. Big mistake as I left too and won’t be back, a real shame to be made to feel so unwelcome. Friendliness is key 🤷🏻‍♀️

I have just had one of my best “ ever” breakfasts. Delicious local eggs with chives creamy and I am sure I could taste the butter. Mushrooms and tomatoes that actually taste of tomatoes .. memories from my mums garden. Great coffee and a terrace to watch the world go by. Loved it. Thank you
