I decided to write a review regarding the treatment I received from Wells Health Centre. I cannot speak highly enough of the exemplary care I received from the whole team. From the Receptionist realising I needed support from a Health care professional to seeing Thea a wonderful and knowledgeable Health care Practitioner. Who had already liaised with Dr Northcott regarding my symptoms. All this was dealt with within two hours of phoning! Thank you, what wonderful team work. You could not ask for better.

Just interrogated whilst trying to explain a stressful situation in dire need of assistance. Was explaining very stressful life circumstances and instead of asking about a medical history was questioned more about life stressors in a way that can only be described as bullying. Dr SERCOMBE should be removed!

I've been trying to fulfill my GP's request to make a face to face appointment for approx six weeks or more...I finally I got an appointment which was cancelled by them I got a new one which they then cancelled, reinstated but with a different GP (wanted to see mine!) all efforts to get another with my GP have failed online consultation always at capacity even at 08.00am, phone calls either give result 'no appointments available' or I'm in the queue and cut off! Today again no success via any route topped off with there's no appointments available for the the next two weeks 'and then he's on annual leave for two weeks' I told them I give up!!!!!

PS I only gave ONE star (and that's just to enable posting the review) unfortunately when I post it it adds two more I certainly have not given three stars for the service (or should I say lack of I've received!!!)

Completely disregarding of mental health, had an appointment to be prescribed meds yet when I had my appointment with Dr Sercomb, she did not take me seriously at all. Not only that but when she told me she wasn’t going to prescribe meds and I asked what the point of the appointment was , she just told me to go home. She was so disrespectful and I hope no one has to go through being completely disregarded like I have. Doctors need to do better when it comes to mental health and this woman is a prime example of what a doctor SHOULDN'T BE.

Shocked and appalled at the treatment my partner received here. First time at this practice since moving to Wells 2 years ago, he doesn't go to the doctors lightly and is always anxious not to waste anyone's time. When I called to book him in the receptionist was really helpful and got him booked in the following week, but the doctor he saw couldn't have been ruder. She was quick to get rid of him, said there's nothing that can be done, obviously didn't read his notes and said that he needs to 'change his attitude'. Absolutely no empathy from her and my partner is now even more anxious than he already was about getting help. Came away with no support or information and this was all on his first visit here so not really setting a great first impression. We both understand the pressures the NHS are under but when someone who obviously doesn't go to the doctors unless absolutely necessary doesn't get any support or even empathy, it's incredibly frustrating and disheartening. There are ways of letting someone down gently if there's nothing that can be done. Very disappointed.

Fantastic practice, excellent reception and phone staff who really listen . Has actually got even better in the 28 years I've been living in the area despite pressures on the NHS. Special shout out to Shelley and Dr Loader.

Speaking with telephone handler at the surgery, I never seem to get an appointment. I think they’re very rude I am dyslexic and I was basically taking the Mick out of each time I call for an appointment is always one week or even more very disappointed
