Liked: The location is beautiful, the facilities are great, and the host fabulous! We had a wonderful time this summer at Wellness Woodlands. The hosts could not have done enough for us. The pitch was lovely and we were able to group our tents together. In all there were three adults and 4 kids (4-12), and there was plenty for everyone to do. The shower and toilet block was always spotless and well-stocked! We were allowed to use the plugs to charge our devices and the tea, coffee, and juice was a really nice touch. The proximity to the village coop and the Severn Valley Railway Museum was definitely a bonus too.

Disliked: Absolutely nothing!

Liked: Came for a family weekend to celebrate my son's 11th birthday. What a weekend it was. Lovely campsite. Clean facilities, showers available, fridgw to store food, kettle for hot water, trolleys to transport camping gear to pitch. very friendly and helpful staff. Local amenities for shopping just up the road which was great for convenience. Great place to go with kids, plenty space to play games, play area, fairy garden, mud kitchen, walking trails and train tracks close by to watch trains come by every 30mins-1hr. Perfect place for star gazing especially when sky's are clear. Thank you Roger/Jess for running a beautiful camp site. First time for me attending and won't be the last!

Disliked: Mud kitchen was mentioned as available for kids, however was over grown with brambles and nettles, could do with some TLC, however great idea for kids attraction.

Liked: Everything about this site was so well thought out and just amazing. Initially I wasn’t sure what to expect with this being such a quiet site with no music allowed but wow what a nice change to our usual campsites! The spacious pitches meant the children had so much room to play football/tennis and run around as they pleased without interrupting other campers. The facilities were very clean and the communal hub is just stunning! We go camping a lot but this is my favourite site to date. We were lucky enough to visit during the back to 40s weekend (search this up as we weren’t sure what it was- there’s another one I believe in July and it’s great). We got the steam train to Bridgnorth and visited the outdoor markets and the village was also stunning. The ship inn pub just a short walk away offers lovely food and views too. We also visited the West Midlands safari park which is also a must for everyone! There is a grilling area which we found great and the fairy village is beautiful too, my daughter’s favourite. The photos do not do this site justice! Overall, cannot recommend this site enough!

Disliked: Nothing at all

Liked: The site was vast and campers were well spread out, meaning we had plenty of space to enjoy the serene local nature. We ordered a fire pit and enjoyed sitting out in the evenings watching the stars and listening to the sounds of nocturnal wildlife.
Facilities were better than most campsites nowadays (flushing toilets, hot water to wash up and a hot shower!). Location was great and we went to the local pub The Ship Inn one night for dinner (a 10 minute walk through the woods).
Great for kids who could roam around, make new friends and have fun on the rope swing. Lots of fun little carvings dotted around and woodland themed figurines (including a fairy village).
In easy walking distance of the village or a short drive to nearby Bridgnorth for a mooch around and a ride on the Funicular.
Jess, the owner, was very friendly and approachable, as was Alan who runs forest skills and foraging courses. So much knowledge of the local landscape and we got to sample some interesting foraged delicacies!

Disliked: An extra shower might have come in handy but the available number of pitches is purposefully limited by the owners, so it wasn't a problem. Might need to provide more facilities in the future if the bookings increase.

Liked: Excellent facilities, views, location and local amenities (can highly recommend the local curry house for a last-minute solution to forgetting to bring some dinner on the first night)

The site is a former golf course so is easily traversed and very accessible.

We stayed during the Severn Valley Railway’s steam gala - it was a 90 second walk from our pitch to Highley Station. Easy access to the station, the Ship Inn pub and then trains to Bridgnorth etc.

Disliked: Nothing.

Liked: One of the best campsites we have been to! It was the perfect site to stay on with children. It was so peaceful and quiet with gorgeous views and lots of space to play. All the facilities were really clean and the owners were really friendly. My son loved the rope swing that was next to where we camped and being spotting the steam trains going past made his weekend! There are lots of little nooks to explore, statues, a little climbing frame and slide, willow tunnel, fairy ring. The washing up area even had a communal fridge, electric kettle and tea/coffee/hot chocolate/sugar provided. We only stayed one night but felt like we had been away for several days. We hired a fire pit and wood and they were really good value. We hope to be back again soon.

The owner was very friendly and made us feel very welcomed. The camp site itself is beautiful, with a stunning woodland area that's perfect for peaceful walks. The toilets were clean, which added to our comfort. Overall, we had a wonderfully relaxing time and will definitely be returning in the future.
