Wealden Ambulance Services did a fantastic job transporting my father from Bexhill to Woking. He was very anxious about the trip, but Judith and her colleague were very careful to reassure him prior to his departure and he was so calm that he managed to sleep for most of the journey! The evening before the transport Judith took the trouble to call me to introduce herself and to ask if there was anything in particular that needed to be transported with my father that might be forgotten. On the day of the transfer I was very grateful to be kept informed as to the exact pick-up time and progress during the journey, meaning I was able to time my arrival at the destination in time to greet my father when he arrived. Judith and her colleague then very carefully helped to transfer my father to a wheelchair. The care and attention they showed throughout the whole process was very much appreciated by both me and my father, and I have no hesitation in recommending Wealden Ambulance Services based on our experience.

Wealden Ambulance Services moved my 94-year old mother between care homes, a few weeks ago. They were very pro-active dealing with my enquiry, sorting out the details, and liaising with the two homes, and it felt straightaway like I was getting a personal service. She was dreading it – nearly 100 miles – but was really well looked after on the day, and the crew coped with the previous home making her bring all her belongings, when I’d specifically told them (and had promised WAS) that I’d be collecting them. She’s not one to give out praise or thanks, or to remember anything that’s happened to her, but she’s still going on about how absolutely lovely the people were. Thank you ever so much.

I used Wealden Ambulances to transport a family member. The two staff was lovely ensuring that the family member was treated as an individual. They reassured her at all times and made sure that she understood what was going to happen next.

It was also very easy to book the ambulance and the email with the information arrived when i was told it would arrive.

Absolutely over the moon with Wealden Ambulance Service. They collected a family member from Northampton and kept her calm. Judith whom I spoke to over the phone. Excellent service. Wealden came to the rescue when NHS transport let us down when transferring mum from Eastbourne to a care home near Nottingham. Very professional and efficient, easy to arrange despite short notice, picked up on time, kept us informed of progress looked after mum really well. Can't thank them enough.
