Quite simply exceptional. The dedication of ALL members of staff and volunteers is inspiring. Even during the global pandemic, when the short breaks fun couldn’t go ahead like usual, special deliveries to the children have been appreciated and kept us in touch. Support for us as parents has never been more necessary and this might be different right now but it IS still available. Thank you BEAMS!!

Not to be trusted not independent of the Council refused services from them regarding direct payments as they knew the direct payments that the council were offering to support my disabled children and for respbite for ourselves was insufficient the same as it was in 2015 and they did not help , this service is funded through the public purse and should be independent which it is not .
I complained and was told by the head of charity which I have discovered is the secrets that there is no point in complaining as it would only go to her , she has also refused to provide all my data and now in breach of the data protection act, regardless they KCC have informed her that they are data controllers in their own right.
I will now make a complaint to the charities commission as she told me in simple terms look elsewhere for help.! Very helpful not !
I would not recommend this supposed charity which takes funding from the public purse but refuses to assist where they are not independent and not to be trusted.
