Recently I had a test at the hospital and instead of emailing or texting me with details of a follow up appointment to discuss the results and asking me to confirm, the surgery sent me a text saying I should contact them to make an appointment, so I had to go through the whole nightmarish rigmarole of arranging an appointment (you are 26th in the queue etc, etc).

When I eventually spoke to the receptionist she asked did I want a face to face or telephone appointment and did I want to see the doctor who arranged the test or would a different doctor be OK, both questions should have been directed at the doctor who arranged the test NOT at me the patient.

And then they wonder why patients are angry when they eventually get to speak to a receptionist.

In just this one example it’s easy to see how the system is collapsing under the weight of obvious, gross and easily corrected inefficiencies.

The most awful practice and staff, I spoke with a lady who was so rude this evening, I was supposed to receive a call from a GP regarding medication for pregnancy sickness, I explained that I am bearly eating and drinking and so weak and I need to speak with a GP, she reiterated that I will have to keep trying to get an appointment on the day however that’s what I have been doing she even stated it will probably be the same tommorow as they are limited. I explained I would be making a formal complaint and asked for her name which is GRACE she then told me at the end of the call to “fill my boots” I was in complete shock of the lack of professionalism and care this person showed. I am in total shock and will be taking this as far as I can as this can’t be happening!

This is probably the worst clinic in Norfolk. My appointment time was changed 3 times in one day and the 4th time was cancelled completely. I have been trying to book an appointment for 2 weeks and still have not got an appointment. I will be making a formal complaint as the staff are making a joke of patients and all arguments are worthless.

Went to appointment with a mental health specialist, was met with a nurse who told me I'd been scheduled an STI test instead. Both of us confused. Also won't book appointments in advance, you can only organise a phone appointment for that day between 8:30 and 9:30, which is nearly impossible if you have sleeping disorders.

Don't need to use the Dr that first time in 15 years so don't use them much. So when I had to see a Dr with my bad ear killing me with pain and would need something. 30 min on the phone told to come in 30 minutes and I was in and out within 25 minutes so no problems with me every Dr,s is having problems in the country untill ppl do something nothing will change open your eyes ppl look how watton has changed and not for the better at all open your eyes please ppl

This morning at 8am where i filled in the online form. At 10am i received an email to say they had reached there full capacity, to phone the surgery the next day or fill in the online form. Although this has happened on many occasions, I try not to make contact unless absolutely necessary. I considered my request to see a doctor valid, it appears not by WMP and therefore i am still in pain. I understand i am not alone and question why this is the case, is it bad management i wonder. Trying to make contact with the Practice Manager is impossible. Here i am in enormous amount of pain and unable to see a local doctor. I suppose writing on here is the only way to vent ones anger. I believe the Practice needs a complete over haul. My son lives in Bungay, he can call his surgery, be given an appointment and if medication is needed, he can then take his prescription straight to the pharmacy where he collects his medication. Watton Medical Practice, How long do we have to suffer ?

Long story short I have back injury and was told "there's nothing we can do it's a life long issue get use to it" several years later I had blood vessel in my eye burst went to see a doctor here and was told "we don't have any doctors that can look at eyes go see your optician" optian said it's "blood pressure related see your doctor" the word care means nothing to WMP 😡 there other horror stories I could mention but I think you get the point without them 😥

The stress is killing me, hopefully sooner then later so i wont have to deal with trying to get a appointment here and it constantly failing ✌️
The doctors are lovely if you can see them though and i haven't had much problem with reception, yet
