Our second visit to Studley Castle and will not be our last. Without exception every member of staff we met were courteous, polite and happy to help. The fact your room only gets serviced once on a 3 day stay is really not an issue. Food and entertainment first class, thanks to Kim for the strong coffee at Breakfast (77), and Lauren Faye Moss what a voice. Everywhere was spotlessly clean and the grounds very well maintained. ||We had a Castle room was spaceous and very quiet. Such an easy hotel to navigate yourself around. ||Slight issue in the Spa with Jacuzzi and Steam room out of action, perhaps staff could advise customers of this on entry rather than finding out once inside. This would be done if there was a meal choice missing from the menu in the Brassiere, being picky but constructive. Yes you have to book a slot for the pool area but this wasn't an issue, a few more loungers in the pool area would be nice as well.||If you want peace and quiet or bits of entertainment you can find both with equal comfort. Jacks quiz was very entertaining and the Warner company performers are very talented.||Would recommend staying here in a heart beat.

Lovely building and beautiful location. Entertainment from tribute bands at weekends same as other Warner venues. Room was spacious and we had a balcony with a good view of the countryside. Wasn't too busy and there was a good variety of activities available. The site is all non cash so either charged to your room or a card. Keep your room details with you as the room card is just for the door and spa entry. Enjoyed our stay and would go again

Nice recent stay at Studley Castle. Beautiful setting, great facilities (pool was lovely) and variety of food on offer was faultless. Negatives: main evening entertainment starts a bit late (21:45), showers in both accommodation and pool area often ran scolding hot which poses a danger to vulnerable guests, it wasn't always easy to order drinks during the entertainment (difficult to get the staff's attention in the dark). I probably wouldn't return as other Warner locations are better in my opinion, but I had a pleasant experience overall

A Wonderful Stay with Excellent Service

From the moment we arrived, the reception staff were incredibly helpful, setting the tone for the entire stay. This level of service extended to all staff members, who went out of their way to assist and ensure a great experience.

One evening, we had booked a table at the brasserie, but the online system lost our reservation. Thankfully, Anna at the brasserie’s grill was quick to accommodate us, finding a spot despite the mix-up.

The entire venue, including the rooms, was spotless—cleanliness was clearly a top priority. Both breakfast and evening meals were consistently excellent, with the brasserie standing out in particular. Overall, we’d rate the dining experience a solid 9/10.

Entertainment was well-organized and enjoyable, thanks to a great compare and staff. The silent disco was a highlight, and activities like archery and shooting were great fun—well-structured and run by staff who were clearly customer-focused.

Drink prices were in line with a good pub for beer, but wine and spirits felt a little pricey. Coffee, unfortunately, was a major letdown—far from barista standard and barely drinkable (1/10). Best to skip it.

One thing to note: the majority of guests are over 60, especially during the week. That said, most were lively and added to the pleasant atmosphere.

Overall, a fantastic stay with top-notch service, great food, and well-run entertainment. Just avoid the coffee!

Room was lovely and spacious. Bed is firm which I love and pillows are comfy with support. Decor nice and Beautiful views.
Bathroom nice. Love having separate bath and shower but I did have to clean the bath myself before use.
There's areas where the cleaning could be worked on. The glasses by the kettle also looked like they've been there a while.

The property is beautiful and the decor again is lovely throughout.

The spa was very nice and clean. The facilities were perfect and staff are all helpful - we enjoyed a relaxing afternoon.

Lunch in the brasserie was nice. Staff were friendly.

Evening meal in the market was very nice. Our server was Gemma and she looked after us all evening.

Entertainment was perfect. Really enjoyed the Abba tribute.

Went for mothers Day afternoon tea. Beautiful hotel and grounds. Staff were very friendly and helpful, especially the young man who served us. Pleasant afternoon tea, delicious sandwiches, cakes, great selection of teas and presecco. The hotel is situated on lovely grounds, great, very picturesque.

Fabulous! Stunning hotel inside and outside, bursting with character. Lovely rooms, lovely staff. The leisure and entertainment team are wonderful, they put on so many activities, there wasn't a moment to get bored. Archery, laser pistol, quizzes, bean bag games, even art classes using coffee as paint! Very good singers before and after dinner plus a very good show on stage. Can't recommend enough.

This was our first visit to Studley Castle. The room was very comfortable and clean. The food was excellent with a varied choice. ALL the staff were amazing! They were friendly, cheerful and very helpful.
We will definitely return
