I went to fix a glass frame for my father. The lovely lady fix it for free of cost.. what a lovely lady. Customer support is awesome. I recommend this shop for to purchase for new glasses or repair old one. Fantastic place..

I had a wonderful experience at Wardale Williams recently. I went in to get my spectacles fixed, and not only did they do a great job, but they didn’t even charge me for it! 5 star review as the staff are lovely and friendly and the service is excellent. However, I was disappointed that I had to pay £59 for an eye test (especially so close to Christmas) and was shocked that it was due to an additional £20 test that I opted for during my eye test. I was asked if I wanted it for peace of mind, but was not made aware that it was at additional cost. I would've declined it otherwise.

I can't recommend this opticians highly.
I had a problem with an injury in my eye and although I'm not registered with them , they couldn't have been more helpful, even got me an appointment at the primary eye clinic within the hour.

Having used a chain optician previously I am so pleased that I went to Wardale Williams in Halstead.

What an excellent service I got today, walked in to get my glasses fixed, One of the rubber nose pieces had come off and the lady fixed it straight away for me. Free of charge couldn’t believe it.thank you so much

The staff, from the receptionist through to the option are friendly, helpful, polite, and nothing is too much effort.
I've been going to Wardale and Williams since the early 1990's, I will not go anywhere else.
