Having been a part of Warberries for many years, I know that the Residents are well looked after and it would be difficult to find a more caring team of people. A dementia environment is a challenging one and I think the team deliver a high standard of care and professionalism, whilst still making Warberries feels like a family.
They are kind, compassionate people who work here and have always gone the extra mile to support not only Residents, but staff at all levels too. I have been amazed at the passion and drive of everyone here during such a difficult time as this Covid-19 Pandemic; where they have succeeded in having no cases thus far.

In my 4 years at the Warberries I have watched it go through many changes, yet the residents have always come first. Through snowdays and Covid the team has pulled together to provide excellent care. I am saddened to read that some former employees have taken to name calling in public. That shows me that you were not meant to be part of our team - there is no I in team . ( Well, that isn't strictly true - it is right there in the 'A' - hole.)
Regarding training - it is all provided and staff are encouraged to study further if they wish. I have been supported in my Dementia studies, and was even accommodated with the 6 weeks leave I needed for my Fellowship travels.
The Home's intergenerational project has just won a national award too.
Sure, it isn't all sweetness and light - what job in care is? Some days are really hard, but we all work hard to make sure that our residents come first, whatever other hurdles are thrown in our path.
As for the post re foreign nurses : I have a good idea who this was, and if you start every sentence with 'in my country we......' you will soon upset people. YOU needed to realise that things are done differently here in the UK
All in all I am proud to say I am part of the Warberries family
