Had to take my 99 year old mother in law to get some nursing care for a gash on her leg that she had done 2 days previously. I had tried to get her seen at home as she was very wary of hospitals. Elton, the centre manager helped me wheel her upstairs as I was struggling with their wheelchair. Cheryl, the receptionist was exceptionally helpful, and got us through to triage within ten minutes of us arriving. Alan assessed her leg and sent us through to Sam and Richard who took her history and dressed her leg. Everyone at the centre were so helpful and friendly, it has reassured my very wary Mum in law who has seen many of her friends die and was convinced that she would get Covid or sepsis if she went near anywhere hospital related. Thank you so much Elton, Cheryl, Alan, Sam and Richard.

I'm local and am appalled at this place which should be renamed the walk in and be kept in the dark. We arrived at 2pm with our Special Needs daughter as advised by the local pharmacist and were still waiting to be seen at 7pm. The signs said 3 hour wait at two. We spoke to two different receptionists who were extremely unhelpful and showed no empathy or compassion to her despite the fact she was in tears at one or two points. So thanks NHS and the wonderful front of house staff, for ruining her birthday and having a planned meal ruined.

I think the facility is excellent in theory . However the waiting times are crippling for people with ADHD who struggle with any kind of ques or waiting. And the nurses are so miserable and snap!

Had phoned the previous month before visiting to ask if I could get an implant injection done there while I was on holiday, the reception phoned me back and told me she had spoke to one of the nurses and as long as I had the injection with me it wouldn’t be a problem! Fast forward to actually going to get it and the receptionist said that I needed a letter from my doctor and also it’s not something they do! But she would check with someone to see if there was anyone who could do it.At this point the other receptionist starts telling me she doesn’t know who I spoke to but it wasn’t them,so I couldn’t get it done. The other receptionist came back and also said no one can do it there. Both were very rude and shouldn’t be in that job with the attitude they have. I was extremely upset as it’s preventative medication for breast cancer! All I can say is I’m glad i don’t live there and have to go here for anything! On the plus the main receptionist at the front door was lovely and phoned through to the nurses to ask their advice. And directed me to the hospital to try get I done!

After a 90 minute wait, finally got my blood test done, this is because someone decided the phlebotomy dept wasnt needed Yet myself and several others were called at the same time, babies and mums with kids still waiting after I left I dont blame the nurses but the management need to sort things out or retire.

Outstanding service here, was seen in a timely and efficient manner by the hardworking staff. Lovely building inside and out as well. Perhaps needs more parking spaces but I don't think that they have room to expand on that plot. Long live our amazing NHS.

What is the point of the receptionists now? Just had to put all my ailment details and personal details in an ipad while the receptionist told me how to use it. Maybe its done for efficiency but it's so impersonal now, makes you feel like less of a person which makes your issues you've come with less so.

A visitor in the area.I was advised to call here rather than A& E. very polite staff. Was seen within 4 hours. GP X-Ray & cast applied. Massive thanks to the lovely receptionist on entry for assisting me to the toilet. Her care was outstanding. Think her name was Kim. The care from all staff was very appreciated
