Always find reception staff helpful and the doctors are knowledgeable and kind. I echo the phone access problem but do find the on line appointments useful. I’ve had cause to contact the surgery In person on a few evenings recently and found Holly on reception excellent

Never had a problem with either doctors or staff, always been helpful and understanding. Yes phone calls can take a while but this is quite normal for a busy surgery. Online appointments seem to be available, so it is a first come first serve basis and that is fair enough.

Absolutely disgusted by the new female doctor. After a two hour and 30 min wait to get through to reception for an URGENT pregnancy appointment I got told the next space was a week later! Only to be told once I am there absolutely nothing until I leave the building I get a phone call ‘I have been googling some ways to help’ cannot believe how these people are employed. This is a serious problem that should not have been left weeks and weeks until I find another clinic to help me which has now led to surgery because of how wakering have wasted weeks of my time. Unbelievable do not waste your time here. Will be making a formal complaint.

It is impossible to get through on the phone, generally an hours wait before a call is answered. Drs are generally good but the staff are exceptionally rude. Now the surgery is closed on a Tuesday afternoon, again cutting time patients can speak to a dr or nurse. I would not recommend this surgery to anyone.

Trying to get through to the surgery is impossible. Yes, Impossible. No matter when you ring...no awnser and then to get continually cut off is intolerable.
58 attempts in an hour? I know, it's compounded by having to make this number of attempts.
But if people don't? They do not get seen, or a call back or worse their requires prescription.

Phone system = not fit for purpose.
Surgery management = Not currently fit for purpose.

Can't fault the care and treatment from the medical team and I'm sure everyone else is working hard. The pressure, through lack of a working model, must be unbearable for your reception colleagues.
The service and booking model is broken and has been since the begining of covid.
Face into that fact please.
It's broken and not good enough.
Adapt, rebuild the processes, get someone to moniter and manage it and get the service levels back to an acceptable level as any other company/ business would have to do.
We deserve better. We really do.
