The Staff and communication is very poor. The staff are not professional at all and the attitude of the staff is disgraceful. When I had worked at coat house I was not given my breaks I had worked illegal hours with no breaks to eat my food or drink and it resulted me to have a seizure at home in front of my 4 month old baby boy, due to lack of food and drink, as not being allowed to take my breaks and not eating properly, due to illegal shift work. Luckily my partner was home before he left for work to help assist me. Also the staff sit around not doing much whilst talking about the residents to each other which is disrespectful. I would not recommend anyone who wants to do well in care to work at this home or who is new and willing to learn what care really is.

If your not a fan of the new build very large nursing homes give this one a look, it's very homely with 11 bedrooms, daycare and respite are offered, the staff are professional and caring and the home has its own minibus for appointments and outings. It had a poor CQC rating a couple of years ago but has turned itself around and had a much improved report since
