My 4 year old attends Lisa and Chris's kids' Taekwon-Do class and it's her favourite thing in the world. They are fabulous teachers - utterly top of their field with Guinness World Records under their belts - with endless patience, instilling a sense of fun but also calm respect, courtesy and generosity - we had extended free classes without commitment to sign up while my daughter was still a little unsure in the early days. You can absolutely tell that this is a couple who run their classes for the sheer love of it, as they give so much to them. The mixed-age sessions work really well, with older kids able to mentor younger ones in group activities: it's such a good way of helping quieter kids gain confidence, and helping energetic ones learn to focus and channel their energy.
