I’m adding this 5 star review purely off the back of the staff that work here. In particular the nurse that I saw to take my bloods. It is very difficult to take bloods from me and I almost always have to get referred to hospital but twice in as many weeks this nurse has managed to draw bloods from me. I can’t overstate how skilled he is to do this.
Obviously the surgery is experiencing the same issues as every other surgery in the country (difficult to get appointments that aren’t emergency appointments, increased wait times due to the enforcement of short appointment times) but honestly my experience is that I can get an emergency appointment when needed, and the wait times are not that bad. Most importantly the staff are very keen to help and very good at their jobs, in my experience.

I have been coming to the surgery for a while. It’s a good surgery with usual set backs such as booking appointments and waiting times, but nothing major. However, today I had the most uncomfortable experience as did a few of us patients in the waiting area. Staff were pretty rude and unprofessional to each other for everyone to see. No respect for each other, especially for new staff who was being told off by someone who’s been working in the surgery for years. Quite upsetting and not something I want to experience again.

I am forever grateful with the senior reception staff who seems fairly new to this practice. She advised me with an issue I've had for a while. She has a very good clinical knowledge. And to be fair, saved an appointment for someone else needing it more. But as I was waiting for my flu jab on Tuesday, she was quite helpful to other patients. Sitting on the front desk and always smiling when taking a call brightens the place. Keep it up!

I have been a member of this surgery for over 30 year. I am astounded by how it is failing in all areas. The practice is a sham and there is aray of incompetent staff. Staff in all areas lack compassion, are unable to commit to true and consistent communication.
I have reported the surgery to the CQC and encourage otherwise to do so. Something isn't right because there are failures that reoccur enough times to become a concern.
I find it questionable on if staff have met all training and competencies as they struggle with basic communication, lack emphaty, understanding and certainly lack phone etiquette.
