3 receptionists all sat in their office behind a glass window, and a queue started to form behind me.

Not one acknowledged me for approx 5 minutes. Another patient behind me asked why I hadn't been seen to, and then another patient told us all in the queue we have to book in using an electronic computer device which was bolted to the wall. There is a sign explaining this but it's not clearly visible.

As it happens I then went to check myself in using their super duper computer and the people in the queue were adorably elderly and asked me to check them in too, so I dutifully obliged.

It's such a shame we live in a world where humans interacting with one another is becoming rare - a simple acknowledgement by reception would have been appreciated and not for me, but for the elderly people behind me.

As I left I moved their sign to a more visible place so that patients may know what to do to check in.

I had both of my vaccines here and I cannot thank the staff enough. The whole service from start to finish was quick, efficient but above all very friendly. The staff are fabulous.

Not happy trying to get appointment with the doctor is unreal I tried yesterday Thursday to be told call Friday to get the appointment done for the doctor I needed to see so Friday came tried all morning to get thorough to be held at number 1 in que still no answer so come 2pm called again and yes held at number 1 so kept on hold left my house and drove to the doctors still on hold for 20minutes going in to the doctors and reception staff just sitting so not very happy 🙃 then to be told all per appointment for 2weeks time gonehow do you get to see a doctor

Visited the Victoria Medical Practice to receive my covid booster and flu Vaccine. The staff were very welcoming and professional. Overall good experience.

Tried for two years to get an appointment no staff . Takes phone off the hook .go to see them they just give you numbers for all Hartlepool doctors . Same problem can't get appointment. Then they give you a appointment with nurse practitioner . where are the doctors. 141.000 thousand pounds for no service 😡

Can't get through although I was supposed to be number 1 in the queue I was still waiting to speak to someone after half hour .this is not acceptable. Don't even go to surgery often anyway

Totally short staffed at reception I assume as they take the phone off the hook when seeing to people at the front counter. That can be the only explanation as it takes at least 20 attempts to get through if you’re lucky. I can’t believe no one has complained about this before and can only think these feedback comments are being deleted.
