I highly recommend this wonderful, compassionate service. I had a fantastic Support Officer called Lottie who looked after me for many months. Her caring, understanding nature made me feel so at ease. I was a victim of crime and having deep struggles with my mental health; being able to speak to Lottie regularly helped me to overcome many difficulties I didn’t think I had the strength to do. Her encouragement and empathy gave me the light at the end of a dark tunnel I didn’t think existed. She was like a guardian angel that entered my life when I needed it most 🫶🏼

I was getting so many scam calls, some that sounded so genuine and one especially that I was almost taken in with that it was affecting my life. Then I got a call off the Victim Care and Advice Service which proved to be a Godsend. They were very courteous and installed a call blocker that dealt with any scam calls and proved to be 100% effective in stopping them. I received a regular update from them on the number of calls it had stopped which was very reassuring. I can highly recommend this service to anyone who is going through similar issues.

I would highly recommend Karen to anyone seeking support, and I hope her work continues to be recognized and appreciated by others as much as it has been by me.

Thank you, Karen, for all that you do!

A very worthwhile service. Angela showed great empathy and understood the impact of recent events. The service I received was prompt, professional and helpful. Thank you for taking the time to write to me and follow-up with several telephone calls. It was beneficial to be able to talk things through and gain a different perspective on what has happened. Thank you.

My son was referred by the police due to bullying at school. His support worker did wonders for him, went above and beyond. With the help of this service, my son got a place in a new school of choice and is so much happier in himself after feeling like giving up. Not only supported my son, supported me and nothing was to much of an ask. I feel comfortable answering the phone and texting with updates. Cannot thank our support worker and this service enough for the help, they've changed our life's.
