Average of 30min delay in appointments,doctors don't seem to listen & had to be told about giving me medication that's not suited to me due to mental health or forgetting to add extra medication to prescription that needs pairing with meds given

I recently had a very disappointing experience at this surgery. The receptionists were very unprofessional.

I waited patiently for 40 minutes before asking for an update, especially since a patient who arrived after me was already being seen. The receptionist, once again dismissive, told me to keep waiting and assured me someone would let me know what was happening soon.

After waiting an additional 15 minutes, I approached the desk once more. This time, I was bluntly informed that they could not see me. When I expressed my frustration and asked why I had been made to wait so long without any notification, the receptionist, responded with sarcasm and continued rudeness.

This experience was incredibly unprofessional and disrespectful. I will not be returning to this surgery and would advise others to consider alternative options where patients are treated with basic courtesy and respect.

Had an appointment with the nurse practitioner I can’t remember his name tho. He was an Asian man had a face mask on anyway. Went in with pain in my thigh and pain in my back sent me to hospital and they found a dvt in my leg then they found a pulmonary embolism in my lung. I honestly think if it wasn’t for him I would not be alive today so thank you

Unhelpful surgery! The doctors don't want to find the correct diagnosis or send for blood tests/ultrasound. They would rather just hide the issue by taking prescription drugs or creams without finding the underlying reason. I had to already spend money on private blood tests as the surgery refused me a second blood test, as the original ones were taken on the wrong date. Now, they are telling me to go privately for an ultrasound as they won't refer me to NHS practice for it. Ridiculous!

Tried to make an appointment as I had a temperature and suspected laryngitis. I was laughed at by the receptionist when I rang and could barely speak. She said it sounds as though you have laringytis and. When I asked if she could give me any advice. I was told I’m not a Dr and Don’t expect an appointment on the day you ring to see a Dr. How ridiculous. Ha ha. I then tried again the same evening as I felt so poorly. I was then told we have no appointments. Can get you in on the 4th November. Terrible experience with staff who are just not bothered.

Rang to have my prescription sent to where I attend university and when asked the postcode of where I wanted to sent to I asked her to give me a second to double check I had it right and the receptionist lady went on a rant about how my call wasn’t important. She stated about how there were people on the phone waiting who actually needed help and she told me to ring back later. In the time it took me to get the postcode she had been ranting for over a minute. Anyway, I rang back 3 hours later and a different woman answered I told her I wanted to change my pharmacy and she said “oh yeah you’re the post code girl” so the first woman had clearly been talking about me behind my back. It’s been over a week and after all that they sent my prescription to their pharmacy while I’m over an hour and a half drive away from it. Frustrated isn’t the word.
