Valentine's Medical Centre is no longer the reputable GP practice it once was. The inability to secure an appointment with a doctor has been incredibly frustrating. Each time I called, I was informed that all appointments were fully booked and advised to call back the following day, only for the same situation to repeat itself. The receptionists were discourteous, and scheduling an appointment with them has become exceedingly difficult. For these reasons, I have decided to change my GP.

Wouldn't even give this surgery 1 star. Where do I start receptionist are rude tell you to phone in the morning at 8.45 and by 8.50 they have no appointments. You also are like 50 in the qué before they answer and when. They do they do not have any respect for you. I Needed pain relief as i am in pain waiting for an operation. The Doctors don't even look at your notes and just refuse to give you any medication as I have ran out. Ask why they say you need a medication review And phone back tomorrow when you do they say they got no appointments. This is the worst doctors surgery and I am so glad to be leaving AVOID AT ALL COSTS YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED

Probably the worst GP procedure ever, opens at 8:45 15 attempts to even get in the call queue waited 15 minutes in the call queue to be told by a very rude receptionist there are no appointments! As a GP receptionist myself I can fully understand the stress of the job when the phone is none stop ect, but the attitude is ridiculous and laughable! They really need to look at there appointment procedure and opening hours cause it is really not accessible to the public

There is so much negativity around that I wanted to give some positivity for the health service I’ve received. I’ll been pretty poorly for a while, and without Dr Basnet and Alice Richardson I wouldn’t be where I am now. Still not fully there but fingers crossed I’m getting there. Also to the ladies on reception who have been great always take the time to chat even though they are busy.

Good day. I hope everyone is well. This comment is to express gratitude to Lisa, who answered my phone a few days ago. Simply because she brightened my day by delivering exceptional care and real concern in response to my inquiry. She made an extra effort to meet the patient's needs. She is highly professional and passionate about what she does, but most importantly, she is incredibly polite and well-mannered, which is what we value most. Thank you so much Lisa for being there for us.

Only been to this surgery twice I saw Dr Topping he was superb got the FULL MOT and blood test. 5 star treatment👍👍 I can’t fault this surgery. Brilliant

Want to leave 5 star from Lynsey receptionist was very helpful and listens to our problems and solves it we was told in the morning after we waited 40 mins to ring back the next day but when I called in the afternoon Lynsey sorted it this is what we want someone to help us listen to us not just be rude and put phone down or get told we can’t do anything we feel helpless then thanks Lynsey keep helping people and good things will come back to you

Amazing Staff and Amazing doctors but the way they have to handle appointments is dreadful especially if you work late and are not able to be up by 8:45
