I have been a patient at the Christie Hospital under the care of Mr Gulamhusein, an urology consultant, and received excellent professional, kind care, and I was treated as an individual. I was given helpful information, a step by step plan of care. I felt listened to and was able to ask questions.
My primary consultant and the other Urology consultants’ teams work together to provide 24 hr cover for all the urology patients. They all had the same ethos of high standards of care, giving patient time and respect.

Mr Aziz Gulamhusein is an excellent Consultant Urological and Robotic Surgeon - he really is one of the best. He is kind, patient, understanding, knowledgeable and accommodating. My brother was experiencing a urological issue and he was able to see him the same day we enquired, which is fantastic. He reassured him and, with his expertise, put him at ease. He is due to have a procedure under his care shortly and this is extremely reassuring as I trust he will take good care of him. He really cares about his patients and is clearly very passionate about what he does. I have recently had to seek advice about my own urological issue, and he really helped and advised me. I would 100% recommend Mr Gulamhusein to anyone experiencing any urological issues and will be seeking advice from him again if I have any of my own.

Mr. Gulamhusein is undoubtedly an extremely talented Doctor/Surgeon. His obvious expertise in the Urological field is unquestionable.
What, in my opinion, makes Mr Gulamhusein unique is his genuine compassion and attentive manner towards his patients.
His compassion is at an all new level something I have never experienced previously. He scrupulously explains every stage from both pre and post operative diagnosis, procedure options, balancing potential risks involved with the various procedures.
Mr Gulamhusein's dedication, in my opinion, clearly goes far beyond general expectations even down to making direct phone calls whilst on vacation. My family and I will be forever indebted to him.

No words can describe how grateful I am about Dr Gulamhusein. I've had a really bad experience with the first doctor at another hospital but Dr Gulamhusein from day one managed to make me feel secure. From our first appointment he explained everything, every little detail of my condition. He was always giving me the time to ask any question I could think and he was answering all of them. He has never let me feel fear, sadness or that something could go wrong. He was always so sure about what is going to happen so I have never had second thoughts. He made my family and me feel that his concern was to offer us a normal life after this sad situation we've been through. He assessed my condition and decided to take a risk just to make my life easier. After a difficult operation he managed to do what was impossible for 4 other doctors who had seen me before him. It feels so good when you realise that there are great Doctors who respect you. Because what makes a good doctor is his ability to be a human first. And Dr Gulamhusein is definitely one of them. I highly recommend him for his ability, skills and professionalism, but first of all his willingness to assist you by any means.
