Brilliant service. Frankly in comparison my GP surgery is a joke. (Ain't they all) Waited 20mins then saw a nurse who quickly diagnosed my condition.
I can't be more grateful we in the new forest have access to care at the wknd as well as week days.
GP' surgerys are run 'in business hours', however humans get sick every day...
Suggest we scrap GP surgerys and put more staff into the UTC locations where you can be treated in person.

I was unwell, while away on holiday in the area, I was relieved to be told about this centre. It's modern, efficient, and best of all a walk in service. I was triaged upon arrival and then treated after a short wait. Another plus is that prescribed medication, if required, is dispensed there an then, meaning no additional trip to a pharmacy being needed. Thank you all for your service.

Took my son who had had an intermittent temperature for a week. You can tell this is quite a new hospital and the UTC was very well organised. We saw a Doctor reasonably quickly and he was great, took his time doing a detailed examination and explained his conclusions well.

I visited this Urgent Treatment Centre on Tuesday 15th August 2023. I arrived at 18.30 having been referred by 111; the Centre is about a 45 minute drive from my home. I was hoping that the journey would save me a longer wait at A&E and I'm sure it did, but I was waiting 2.5 hours in total. This is not the Centre's fault as they were short-staffed and doing the best they could. When my wound was seen to, the best course of action was considered by two medical professionals and the process behind the treatment was explained to me. I was provided with antibiotics onsite to save me trying to find a pharmacy at 9pm. Staff were kind, knowledgeable and good humoured. Overall, my injury was dealt with but my observation would be that my experience is indicative once again of the investment required in our NHS; had there been a few more staff, I might've been in and out in an hour.

Took my son after a week long illness. He became so ill we were told by 111 to come to UTC. He arrived at 8am. Triage nurse was so awful to him. Very rude. Told him it was up to him if he waited for Dr @ 10am. We came home and are now going to A@E. Dr Katie did spk to us and was lovely .

Excellent service. Triaged by Eileen, she explained situation to doctor and kindly sorted out prescription. I am a nurse too, so explained my reason for attending, she listened & saved a 3 hour wait. Common sense & good clinical decision making.

I had to use the facility today, after sustaining a leg wound. The care I received was absolutely first class, from being booked in and then treated, took only 10 minutes. My nurse ( Marion?) was patient and caring, patching me up and reassuring me. Being on holiday and needing medical care wasn't quite the plan, but thank you everyone xx

I'd like to thank everyone at the Urgent medical centre who looked after me this afternoon. Everyone was so courteous, kind, helpful. No sense of stress. Recognising it's a Bank Holiday, and a place people are going to come to with all sorts of injuries, I was impressed that I was in and out within 2 hours.
