I feel vindicated after reading reviews here. IF you manage to speak to a doctor, they are brilliant. However, the receptionists are another story altogether. One is absolutely lovely. The other is patronising, rude, condescending, does not listen, talks over you, and has not only lied but had me in tears and hung up on me. It's at the point that I get so anxious when I need to call that I've ended up being sick.

I've used this surgery for 6 years and my experience has always been absolutely fantastic. The receptionists, nurses and GPs have been absolutely amazing for myself and my family. Quick to book emergency appointments, quick to be seen and empathetic advice always given. A long wait for non emergency appointments but that's just the way things are at the moment. So lucky to have this surgery, thank you so much. Especially grateful to Dr Broughton, Dr Salmon and Dr Herbert - very patient and understanding of concerns.

I moved to Chinnor from West London and have been with Unity health for nearly 2 years now and I honestly can’t fault them! The reception are helpful and attentive! The gps are also very helpful! I’ve always been able to get an emergency appointment for myself and little boy if needed!

Doctors are alright, nurses are a bit iffy depending on who you see, and as for the so called receptionist, i could say they are dam right rude sarcastic unprofessional loud and unprofessional manor.

The main issue I have is receptionists asking “is it an emergency” when you ask for a call back from a doctor. You are a GENERAL PRACTICE, if it is an emergency the patient should be accessing emergency services. As a registered professional in a hospital where I see patients daily I find this absolutely ridiculous. Your job is to see patients, not try and offload them onto an already stretched A & E service. It takes 10 minutes to speak to a patient and prescribe antibiotics and if it’s a simple UTI it’s even more important as it won’t take long for that to turn into a dangerous kidney infection, which worst case scenario is fatal, particularly in the elderly. Get a triage nurse that can prescribe to support the doctors.

I recently attended in Chinnor for a health check. Everyone I met was kind, helpful and efficient. Thank you for your great service under unbeliveably difficult conditions. Its a shame that more people give negative reviews these days, often selfishly and without thought. We do need to be kinder to one another. Thanks again, you are all a credit to the NHS.

GPs are generally good and the nurses are excellent but one of the receptionists is very rude and unhelpful which has actually put me off calling the practise and asking for help at times. One of the receptionists is very nice so I have to hope when I call that it is her rather than the other
