I have never experienced such an extremely poor telephone consultation, I can't even call it that, I needed the Doctor's help but instead I had a Doctor (Female Partner) from Thame my named GP who literally "winged" the conversation and knew nothing nor asked about my present condition since her last telephone conversation almost a year ago. March 2024. I am too ill now and was upset by her manner to bother with such a useless, unhelpful conversation, I just agreed with her to get off the phone. I waited 14 days for that upsetting phone call and I never want to speak with her again. Other doctors are helpful and caring in Thame if you can manage to get an appointment so are the some Receptionists and Secretary.

Awful. They have booking website that works 7:30-16:00. If urgent it says to call and someone will book it for you. Nope, they cannot and your problem is never too urgent for them. They prefer patients that come in once in couple of years, routinely fob them off and use the funding for god knows what. If you judge NHS by this GP surgery then NHS is truly fwucked. If you get private appointment and pay lot of money through private doctors, they will advise you to go to A&E but Unity Health receptionist must have Masters in fobbing off people and trying to get rid of you. It’s absolutely pathetic and I am on verge of complaining to CQC.

Unity Health is very responsive to patient needs and provides an efficient and effective, safe, and excellent GP service. The reception staff are lovely and will endeavour to resolve issues. If you struggle doing stuff on line the reception staff will help.

Generally Unity Health in Chinnor is excellent and we count ourselves lucky compared to the horror stories we hear from personal contacts and newspapers about the lack of GPs in, say, Bicester and Didcot. Yes, the phones are busy at 8.30 in the morning - where isn't? But Unity offers plenty of telephone appointments as an alternative to FTF and you are never left waiting weeks for an appointment or feeling that you are being denied a referral because the practices' budget is under strain.

My only slight bugbear - why are all 5 branches closed for "training" on a Wednesday afternoon? Why not keep at least one open, so people can make bookings or check if their test results are in?

This Unity practice is far from what could be classed as a medical practice, for nearly two years the doctors without speaking or consulting stop medicines or change them - imagine, 4 times I have requested a Ventolin inhaler to reach the Pharmacy to see it had been removed from the prescription, this is after multiple reviews….
I am now having to move house to ensure the practice provides me with right medicine without months and months of random gaps where I have to source prescription medicine abroad! Not acceptable putting patients at risk!

My son's needs stitches taken out, been on phone for over 1 hour stuck at qué #1 tried the online function but it will not allow to book with nurse and doctors appointment is 5 weeks wait .SHOCKING SERVICE . Going to complain to the NHS about this service they used to be so good untill they changed everything

As a new patient the staff are so lovely and very helpful but as classed as a vunerable patient and work fulltime trying to book a covid jab is a total nightmare constantly trying to book when I can with nothing on offer and have had to book a flu jab with a local pharmacist . Please offer those in need a date and time not fighting to get a slot as we have to work and not watch my phone 24/7.

I just spent 1 hour 25 minutes and 218 attempts to get through to be told no appointments left start the process again tomorrow. What kind of customer service is this? and people wonder why hospital waiting rooms are full. If you can't see a doctor what choice do people have !!
