I'm afraid it's a poor review. When I tried to book an appointment online I was asked when I could NOT make an appointment. When the appointment came through it was for a time I had specified that I could not make. This is not the first time this has happened. I have twice tried to go back online to get the appointment amended but I keep being met with a notice that the booking system is closed - today apparently it will be available again at closing time. I cannot access the system ahead of my appointment now, so I will be a no-show and another week goes by trying to arrange an appointment.

Unity Health are the most disorganised medical practice I have encountered in my professional capacity in 15 years, and have breached regulatory practice with flagrant disregard.

My business arranges life assurance which often involves big insurers like Aviva paying the GP around £100 for a medical report for our client. This is so our client can get life insurance approved to repay their mortgage should they die, or to pay an income if they are too unwell to work. In short, to avoid anyone going homeless due to health issues.

The GP has 20 working days to return this information under the Access to Medical Reports Act 1988. Despite repeated reminders this practice took almost 9 months to produce the report, exposing my client to large financial risk in the process.

The only reasoning that they could offer was that they had one administrator covering half a dozen sites.

I am sure the Doctors who own the practice are of high standard, but the same cannot be said of their back office systems. It is reckless to leave a client in a vulnerable position for such an extended period due to lack of resources.

My records stated that I arrived late for my appointment!! I did not I arrived on time and had to wait whilst the doctors receptionist spoke to another patient on the telephone. After booking in I waited a further 5 mins. The doctor was rushed, unhelpful and more interested in the computer record than me. I’d like my record amended as it is not accurate !!

Worst experience so far… chronic pain for last 18 months told would be referred to rheumatology for further investigation and get referred to a physiotherapist what a joke. when I called to question this and try and correct it the dr starts asking me if my mood is ok as she’s concerned about my mental health!!! What? Maybe if 1 person in your surgery could actually get something right, I wouldn’t still be in pain and feel frustrated. I don’t need support to help me deal with your incompetence, I just need you to do your job! How insulting to try and get something sorted and being told I think you need help with your mood!!! Will definitely be taking this further

I suggest a change of career for this receptionist, possibly debt collecting or Butchery. She was not only incredibly terse and rude to myself over the phone, but reduced my wife to tears when she visited this practice as a new patient (something that she will never become) !!
I am not sure whom the Doctor is here, but if you are reading this, I will make it my mission in life to "bad mouth" this practice on any platform I can and to any omdbudsman I can find.
What you are prepared to do about it, will be a reflection of the entire ethos you intend to promote within our wonderful little Village.

The receptionist (on the morning of Thursday 12th Jan) is embarrassingly rude to patients. Not to me on this experience, but overhearing her humiliate others in the reception queue hoping for help isn’t pleasant for anybody. Change your attitude and have some compassion.

I have always had exceptional care at Unity Health in Princes Risborough. I appreciate how they call you and talk to you before booking you in to see if your issue can be dealt with without needing an appointment (my time and NHS money saving). I've had doctors make suggestions to me of alternatives to antibiotics, stick up for me against a hospital when I needed an operation (which has changed my life!) and just generally always had positivity and a warm welcome.
