This picture is the denial of coverage for a true and valid accident while traveling, this company is a rip off, they should and eventually will be shut down and they are based on totally fraudulent business practices, they just to not pay under any circumstances, please save your money and get a real travel insurance policy from a well known and reputable insurance company, its so sad that their sole purpose is to steal peoples money that had earned their money with hard work and dedication. Please read all the reviews from other people stating same situations. Please stay away from them.

Contraté un seguro de viaje SAFETRIP con UnitedHealthcare Global. Resulta que al llegar a mi país de destino me dió COVID, por lo que llamé al servicio al cliente de SAFETRIP, y me indicaron inicialmente que ellos pagarían al hospital donde me fuera a chequear. Resulta que como aparentemente no pudieron contactar al mismo, me indicaron que yo pague los gastos, y que realice posteriormente la solicitud de reembolso. Me enviaron un formato para llenar, y adjunté todas las pruebas, adicionales a los gastos, entre ellas me pidieron tickes aéreos, códigos de reserva de los mismos, factura de los pasajes aéreos, en fin, todo lo que justifique que yo efectivamente estuve en el país de visita. Resulta que luego de llamar durante casi 2 semanas buscando respuestas a mi devolución, me envían un correo indicando que no procede mi devolución, ya que el seguro de viaje que tomé, está basado en mi seguro personal en mi país de residencia. Algo tan insólito como esto. Me pregunto, si tuviera un seguro médico de viaje con mi compañía en mi país, para que tendría que acudir a pagar un seguro extra? no tiene sentido, sin embargo finalmente, nunca me volvieron a contestar mis correos electrónicos, hasta que desistí del reclamo. Pagué, mejor dicho regalé a United Healthcare Global y su seguro de viaje SAFETRIP, $130,11 USD que no sirvió para nada, ya que mi atención médica en el hospital en el país de destino me costó $ 459.55 USD. No adquieran un seguro de viaje con esta compañía. Perderán su dinero.
