I visited ultrasound direct in Stourbridge to check myself over as I was experiencing difficulty passing urine and some uncomfortable pains in my lower back and thighs. I had been to the doctors about this several times but didn’t seem to be getting much direction in diagnosis they attributing my illness to peri-menopause symptoms. I’m glad I went for the kidney scan as they found kidney stones in both kidneys, which was causing pain. The staff there were wonderful, very professional and listened to my concerns without judgment. It was worth paying the money to be able find out what was making me feel unwell. All though I am far from sorted by the NHS I would like to say a big thank you to the staff at Ultrasound direct,

After being let down by Russells hall hospital waiting for a scan, I decided to go private and it was the best decision I made. The lady who did my ultrasound was absolutely amazing Katie foxhall, she was very caring, and looked after me especially being very scared and nervous. She was thorough with everything, explaining everything to me and doing a complete in depth scan showing me in detail what she was doing, she has so much empathy for patients. Would highly recommend these guys they are brilliant.

My 3rd time here came for my gender scan and 2 4D scans( 1 free rescan) unfortunately didn't get the results I want at first 4D scan and free rescan as my daughter seems to be a stubborn madam and doesn't cooperate gutted to not get the results I wanted but can't fault the clinic or the lady's that work here they check baby and make sure they are doing well and healthy are lovely and polite I'd return if ever pregnant again and was given a lovely rabbit with her heart beat to soften the blow of not getting the results I wanted I'd recommend a visit

Katie and Sophia were patient, kind and welcoming. They put me at ease and it was clear that my wellbeing and baby wellbeing was a priority. They made a worrying experience (having a scan due to medical concerns) a really pleasant one. It was so exciting seeing the baby. Highly recommended - thank you

I booked an appointment weeks in advance, even had a reminder text. I drive a hour and a half (3 hour round trip) only to arrive and find the place closed! A problem with their online booking system. These scans are time critical. No alternative appointments offered (unless I fancied another 3 hour round trip). Michelle in customer service promised me a call back and didn’t bother (she went off for lunch). I called and got through to Claire, who didn’t apologise and after repeating myself, she decided to put the phone down on me when I asked to speak to a Manager. Appalling - absolutely terrible customer service. Not the first time Ultrasound Direct have been sloppy (at other branches) but this takes the biscuit hence my review. Spare yourself the stress and avoid this company.

This isn't just for baby scans. Their service for other health scans is also excellent. The staff are amazing. I can't recommend them enough. It's brilliant both in terms of their expertise and their customer care.
