I had a scan this morning, and the experience was absolutely wonderful. Holly, the sonographer, made me feel so at ease and welcome. She was incredibly professional and patient, taking the time to show me every single angle of the baby and explain each part in detail. I’ve used other private providers in the past, but this was by far the best experience I’ve had. I will definitely be returning to Ultrasound Direct in the future. Highly recommend!

Booked for early viability scan, when we arrived we were asked to make payment straight away before any further conversations. It felt transactional at what is an anxious time. I was surprised as a health professional that the scan was on the screen straight away before checking everything first which I was surprised at given I'm a HCP myself, we were initially told very quickly that they couldn't find a heartbeat and then were able to find a heartbeat but it was slow and baby was small. I was then referred on for a scan with Early Pregnancy. The whole process seemed a bit cold and transactional. I had a very different experience with more compassion when I was later scanned with the early pregnancy unit. It's made me fearful of all further scans moving forward.

So we had 4 scans in total with Ultrasound direct, such a simple booking process from start to finish it’s was really easy.
We got scanned by Holly all 4 times and she is so thorough and really informative throughout.

Lovely experience! The lady who meets you at reception was super kind and the sonographer Holly was great. Holly really took her time and it didn’t feel rushed at all, she talked me through the whole appointment. Unfortunately on my first visit my baby hid her face so I was invited back for a free second 4D scan at a time that suited me. Both times I was provided with lots of videos and photos, around 30 each time. Really calm and welcoming atmosphere, definitely an experience my family and I will treasure.

Great experience! Holly did my scan and was really lovely and patient. Baby didn't want to play ball and kept putting all it's limbs in front of it's face, so she let me walk round/get a drink etc to get it to change position and then scanned me again. A fab experience seeing baby at 31 weeks and we got lots of photo's and bought a heartbeat bear which I love!

Did the scans at the Ultrasound Direct in Bristol (Brightwell centre). Holly and Diane were very lovely and pleasant. They made me feel very comfortable during the scans, and Holly explained the results in a way that I could understand. It would be lovely if they were available for scans more than the 2 days a week.
