This place is an actual nightmare. If you are not feeling well don't bother the service from the Doctors, mostly, will make you feel worse. There are the odd nice clinicians like Mahalia and receptionist like Geneva, but the majority hate their job and use you to feel better. It is disgusting that people that don't care are allowed to provide care. If you are doing it for the money, love the position you are in and treat the people who enable your position with respect. It is always so difficult to get support from Tynemouth Road GP, generally. That is why patients are always kicking of at reception. The staff have no idea how to communicate empathically or with respect for the patient. It's sad really as you go to feel better and I always end communication with this GP angry and wanting to make a complaint

The building is small but has a lift and toilets and facilities are all clean and well maintained. There are enough parking space most of the time but not always so it’s wise to allow enough time to park before your appointment. We haven’t used their GP but used their community services (for paediatrician and physiotherapy) and so far have been happy with the quality of care and service. There is no cafe on site which is a shame and could be a nice improvement to add a small cafe. Overall a good enough health centre.

Please please please google maps please be aware of all the cameras that fine you at certain times of day around enfield and Palmers green. The signage is sketchy and not that obvious when and when not you can travel through the cameras without a fine. Guide me around the houses, the long way around I just can't afford the fine and the maps keep taking me back on a route that sends you through the cameras during the fine time

Poor customer service today as usual. Reception staff are generally very unhelpful, lazy, rude and lack common sense. They like to do the bear minimum and I generally avoid trying to book any appointments unless I absolutely have to. I either don’t bother trying to book at all or I will go through 111 or go to A&E instead. Today was the final straw for me and I have applied to register with another surgery that have great reviews on Google and when I called the other surgery to find out how to register straight away I noticed the difference in customer service and the manner and tone of the person that I spoke to. Tynemouth Reception staff need to undergo some serious customer service training and stop being so lazy and unhelpful. I am sorry if this doesn’t apply to every receptionist that works there but generally in my experience over the years it applies to most of them.

I use to come here to weigh my baby and all the staff I met have been lovely on the baby side not sure about the GP side. The building is clean, easy to find behind the Tesco and was buggy accessible. If you’ve come for the baby services just remember to bring your Redbook. They do have baby changing facilities here and you can pick up your healthy start vitamins here.

I've been with this practice for a couple of years now and I've had enough and am leaving. As a whole they are a pretty terrible practice. 2 week wait for a telephone consultation, dismissing anxiety, asking me to come in and weigh myself after a referral to eating disorder support was rejected for 'reason's they couldn't see' help in order for it to be re-submitted. Staff provided me inaccurate information for a medical procedure that then was delayed due to this, after which they asked me to do a satisfactions survey which I gladly did. When I finally had the procedure the doctor figured out the survey was from me and makes fun of it, and laughed at me for being upset about it.
Other doctors have been kinder, the one who did my adhd referral was kind enough and expedited the paperwork. I stopped coming to them with issues as It just felt pointless, nothing gets done.
Register somewhere else if you want a practice that gives a toss.

We had a very disappointing experience with this GP. They asked us to come in for a same-day appointment for our child at 5pm, and we made a big effort to get there on time since we were all the way across London for the day. Despite getting there exactly at 5, they kept us waiting for over an hour – 1 hour and 10 minutes to be exact – without any explanation. When we asked after about 40 minutes, they kept saying 'just 5 more minutes,’ but it went on much longer.

If they can’t keep appointments on time, why book them? Especially for kids, the wait was frustrating and felt like it could have been handled better. Just disappointing."
