At the moment having hard time giving better rating. My first treatment with Lyndsey was fantastic - it was FABRIQ treatment and I couldn’t ask for a better result.

Few days after I’ve had an appointment with Shelby for colour and trim. While I cannot fault the staff as they were all absolutely lovely, initially the colour I’ve had was way darker than what we discussed which Shelby very kindly offered to fixed on the same day. After fixing (I was there for 5 hours at this point) the colour still didn’t come out as it was meant to - my goal was to go ginger and I’ve showed reference pictures but it’s currently bright orange, cartoon like.

The trim was fantastic so no complaints here. Again, having hard time with this rating as I feel the place definitely deserves 5 stars overall but cannot go higher due to the colour I ended up with.

Not ideal just before Christmas as well 🥲

Went for a manicure and gel polish! Well that’s what I was booked in for! Quick file, pushed my cuticles back and a quick paint! Rough edges and polish to the sides of the nails is unbelievable! No communication from the person who carried out the ‘manicure’ , apart from mind the step when going up the stairs! Receptionist was really nice , when I told her, I knew I wasn’t booked in for a full soak and scrub but if that’s a manicure with a gel polish for £28.00! Certainly would not recommend and will not be going back! Nails isn’t even listed as an option! Thankyou for your reply. Yes I fully understood what I had been booked for, however I have to state that it is not the issue of just the cuticles but the rough edges and varnish to the sides of the nails. I have had to get the nail file out to tidy up the edges. Unfortunately I cannot come in tomorrow as I am going to an event. Thankyou for the offer of booking in to remove and refund.

I love everything about Tufties. The whole experience of getting your hair done or having a beauty treatment is always fabulous-as are the hot chocolates made by Katie! They have a growing number of treatments available and give you helpful advice about which to choose.
I would highly recommend to anyone in or out of the valley.

Had gel nails done twice by different staff, both very nice, but wasn't a relaxing experience, so if your looking for speed then you will be happy. Both times, the nails looked great, but chipped very quickly. Second time, the gel polish came off two nails within days. I was on holiday so couldn't get repaired. I probably won't go back as my polish usually lasts for a month or more. Worth a try though, may have just been unlucky. I'll go back to my usual technician who spends double the time on my nails, but they last so much longer. Sorry Tufties
