We have used Corinium care for nearly three years for my parents, both of whom have had dementia. Nearly all the carers have done a very good job, often in challenging circumstances. When we have had issues, the care managers have responded well, however, we didn't see much of them so could improve responsiveness to customers and carers. They are, however, excellent at billing, clearly a good finance team! Transfer some of that efficiency to care management and it will be an excellent service.

I would highly recommend Corinium Care. My Mum has dementia and both the carers who have looked after her over the last 5 months have been excellent, giving intuitively good care, communicating well and providing great company and meals within budget. It was particularly beneficial that they were each able to stay for long periods, rather than a couple of weeks, as this helped Mum feel less disorientated. The changeover was done seamlessly and the backup from head office was always helpful and prompt. They all do a difficult job very well.

Initially we had a good experience with corinium care before the company changed hands and there were several changes of staff. Carers complained that the company was not as good as the others as an employer. The final carer we were sent from corinium came in jan 21, She was not supported by corinium. She was supposed to be with mum for three months max but ended up a year working 24/7 given only 2 weeks holiday in that entire year. Exhausted and unhappy themselves and not giving good care for my mother at all. I really would advise avoiding this company.

They have provided care for my father who has dementia, we found that the communication was extremely poor, they had to be chased for updates on new carers and this was often left to the last minute very little notice or ability to decline a carer if they were unsuitable. Carer quality was extremely variable. We had incidents of items from the house go missing, incidents where the carers would leave patient on the toilet and go out on break for 2 hours and he was still there when they came back. Carers have turned up with no experience of undertaking live in care, let alone care for someone with Dementia and had a two day training course before turning up. Extremely poor engagement with regional and head care manager, they are definitely the weakest link in a very poor chain. Would strongly recommend this company is AVOIDED!!!

Corinium Care has provided full time live-in carers for my father for almost a year. The carers provided have been consistently good, kind people who have taken excellent care of my father. I have no hesitation in recommending Corinium Care.

Perfect example of of a company that put cash BEFORE customer! If you want your loved ones looked after by poorly trained staff, backed up by the WORST care managers in the business then look no further than Corinium care!! If however, you would prefer that your family member is looked after by well trained, polite, care staff that are supported by experienced and caring support managers then look elsewhere!!!

I can’t recommend strongly enough to avoid this company. At best I would describe my recent experience of them as chaotic, careless and unprofessional, at worst...well, it doesn’t bear thinking about. The carers were not provided with correct information about the client and the client was given untrue information about the carers, when you point out these lapses they do nothing about it. All the carers complained about the incompetent and greedy management. The last carer they sent was drunk and verbally abusive, the house was trashed by her and her smoking, Corinium’s senior management response? I was told not even to expect an apology.

I would like to pick out Kate Stanulewicz at Corinium because she has been amazing at matching lovely carers for my Mum. She seems to make it a personal mission to get the pairing 'right'. Kate also has a very approachable phone manner and I hope we won't get moved from kate's 'team'.
