Honestly, my expectations were middling. As expected, the room was comfortable and clean. The bar area was great, modern and so much nicer than anticipated. Breakfast was decent. The staff were all really friendly and helpful. I'd happily go back.

I would happily stay again! I know the reviews are mixed, but in my case, the room was super clean, quiet and had a nice view.

The staff was also really kind and helpful.

The location is also great. Next to the hotel there is a Porsche Dealership so you have a few more CCTV’s, that help with the overall feeling of safety.

Very clean hotel, well located. Room was clean and fresh. Breakfast was tasty and I had a pleasant stay. I think it is great value for money, the room had all you needed for your stay. The beds were comfortable, the shower was great. I would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend to others.

We booked one night at the Travelodge Guildford and paid £6 for the upgrade to top floor for a quiet room and coffee machine bringing the total to £42. This included free parking but not breakfast. The room was comfortable and spotlessly clean. The only small issue we had was that there was no milk for the coffee machine other than you UHT. I went to the reception in the morning to ask if I could take some milk and I was offered a coffee from the breakfast buffet. This was very appreciated. When my wife and I were checking out the lady at reception asked if I had enjoyed the coffee, which I had. She then offered my wife to use a coffee machine, which was a lifesaver. All the staff were very polite kind and courteous and we would have no hesitation in using this Travelodge again.

Good value for the rooms, nice breakfast as well. Hated that wifi wasn't free, and we were only allowed 30 minutes of free internet. Reception staff was not very friendly tbh, and I had some trouble checking in after midnight due to a plane delay. Breakfast staff was nice though. It's the location that is the most unpractical about this hotel. Bit noisy too, due to traffic.

First time stayed at Guildford one. Really amazing staff and the Manager. Beds and pillows very comfortable, clean. Fridge and microwave in the room were pretty great. The bar cafe restyled and looked posh. I would definitely stay again!!

Excellent refurbished or new hotel, not sure which. Handy bar and café which serves surprisingly good food at not bad prices. Room spotless just spoilt by faulty shower dispenser. We stayed Saturday to Sunday and were disturbed by late night returnees at 4 in the morning which could be a one off. Staff friendly. Good parking.

Very clean and comfortable one night stay. A very pleasant 15 minute walk, part of it along the riverside in early Spring weather along the riverside into the centre of Guildford.
