We are so lucky to have the facilities locally here. Massive thank you to Sarah and the minor injuries team last night for getting me seen quickly and then patching me up after a tumble from my bike. Absolutely first class, kind and considerate care. Thank you Sarah!

Took my partner to the minor injuries unit with a deep cut to his thumb. Everyone we spoke to from reception to the treating nurse was excellent. He was very faint from shock so they brought him into the treatment area so that he could lie down. They were genuinely concerned and compassionate, and were able to examine the wound for tendon/ligament damage whilst distracting him from the pain. We’ve always had good experiences with professionals in the NHS, but really felt the team at Townlands were exceptional!

Today I was sent to townlands with chest infection, I am very happy with everything they did for me they are such lovely nurses they can’t do enough to make you comfortable and keep you informed with what’s happening.
The doctor was also very amazing if only all hospitals could be like this

Main reception/minors desk - lady was lovely.
ENT - The receptionist was an ignorant, arrogant, and blunt man!
The appointment had apparently been cancelled back in April (we hadn't had any notification of this). His attitude was - not my problem - what do you expect me to do about it? He just kept stating that it had been cancelled and "you sure you didn't get a text?" Whilst leaning right back in his chair, then swinging backwards and forwards and tutting at us. Yes, pals have been contacted.

An extremely well managed and well organised hospital that is conveniently situated in one corner of the town. There’s smoke free parking. The staffs are very helpful and facilities are excellent.

This is an amazing place a real gem. The people who work there are so friendly. I took my son who had a football injury to his hand/thumb.(Turned out to be a break)
From the lady on reception to the nurse & radiographer my son said they were all brilliant!

Needed a precautionary x-ray for a twisted ankle. I was dreading going to Royal Berks in Reading but found out Townlands could do it.
In and out in 1 hour. Free (but limited spaces) parking.
Saw Cathy in triage- Excellent.
The NHS at its best. Keep up the good work.
