Phoned this morning for an appointment, was given a paramedic appointment as no doctors available. Received a phone call to check on symptoms to make sure appointment was suitable. Seen quickly with short wait time while I also made another appointment with receptionist who was very polite and helpful. Paramedic Andy was really helpful and made sure I get tests I need and made me feel very reassured.

I do really understand that things are bad at the moment but I've had no help from the practice at all. I phoned the practice yesterday twice to talk to a GP as I have concerns about my elderly father. I live in France so the surgery cannot call me back. I get that and have no problem in phoning you. First call I explained that my dad had fallen at home 4 times in the last 48 hours and needed looking at. She told me to phone back at 4pm so I could speak to the on call Dr. I phoned back at 4 and had to explain again. The receptionist asked if the Dr had been told by first receptionist if I was phoning. I dont think so I said. Well you can't speak to a Dr then. So today I phoned again to see if I could make a telephone appointment with his actual GP. No you have to ring at 08.30 to request a call back. So 3 days will have gone by and I'm still no nearer getting help for my 80 year old frail Dad. Then people wonder why we loose faith.

Was told the new app, "Patches," would improve the chances of communication with the surgery, I did think like a triage nurse in A & E. Wrong, not available 3 times! Useless so back to the phone. sincerely hope the

I have been with this surgery and my doctor for over 25 years. I am very happy with the practice and the services they offer. Most of the reception staff are pleasant and helpful except for 1 or 2 who seem to have a bit of an attitude. That's the reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5.

I have been trying to make an appointment for my husband and every time I ring the staff are degrading, snotty and have apporling customer service skills. I work in a call centre and if I spoke to any of my customers the way your telephony nurses spoke to me, I would be instantly investigated and more than likely fired! Your doctors may be good but you need new nurses to answer the phone.

I explained that he couldn't just ring months day and get an appointment as the hours we work and I wanted to pre book an appointment and it took the nurse 6 times to understand that we CANT ring on the day after she repeated her self several times telling me to just ring on the day! Then the 2nd nurse contradicted herself by telling me there arnt any appointments and I would need to ring up after our holiday 4 WEEKS AWAY to wait ANOTHER 4 WEEKS for an appointment! Disgusting

I have been a patient here for about 7 years and have found that if I need the help of a GP urgently I have always been seen on the same day. Staff are always polite and very patient even though they are incredibly busy and under pressure. Receptionists have the most difficult job in ensuring that the most needy patients get urgent help and are able to sift out patients who can wait.
