I have been a member of this surgery for 20 years. Their care for my children since birth and for my husband and I has been amazing especially now when the nhs is under so much pressure. When needed we have always been able to get an appointment whether it be with a nurse practitioner or Dr. Thank you Torrington Park xx

Truly excellent practice. For the avoidance of doubt, there are 2 sections where one is on the left when you enter, the other on the right and I am referring to the section on the right.
I have been attending this practice for over 25 years and their service has been excellent every time. This includes the availability of appointments, efficiency in handling prescriptions, test results and GP referrals.
My only regret is not registering my whole family at the time of my registration (registration is now quite difficult) as they are missing out on great service!

This is my parents' GP surgery. Dr Azam is the main doctor I speak to currently and find him to be very helpful and understanding of the concerns I raise for my parents, who both have several comorbidities. I have listed the other doctors whom I've also found to be very helpful - Dr Vallayil, Dr Tanna and Dr Hassan.

Regarding the admin/reception side, there is room for improvement. If not already, perhaps some training should be provided to them to better understand their processes/systems, and how these can be improved when looking at them from a patient's perspective. Some (not all) of the reception staff can also be quite rude/abrupt.

Regarding making an appointment or raising an issue, I use eConsult, which I find fairly straightforward, and the request is usually looked at in a timely manner. However, you need to be very quick, and it's a process my elderly parents would find difficult to follow if I wasn't raising the eConsult for them. I avoid calling where possible as it often takes long to get through, and the reason you're calling doesn't often get addressed. I also use Patient Access to request medication and check results etc, which is very useful.

Overall, my parents and I are happy with the service provided, and appreciate the care especially provided by Dr Azam and Dr Tanna.

the worst GP clinic ever. deteriorated over the years. staff at reception are rude. do nothing to help. econsult is impossible. u never get an appointment.

My mum uses this surgery and she wanted me to write a review about how happy she is specially with Dr. Azam, she feel blessed to have a doctor that cares, that listens and that does his up-most to give the best health care he can. He is one of the best gp’s here and wanted to also say a big thank you to him.

Phone never works and they do not accept walk in appointments .
That’s ridiculous that our tax payer money goes to poor NHS service
