I recently had my right bunion removed at The Winterbourne Hospital and had an amazing experience from start to finish! From the moment I signed in, receptionists Sandy and Tracy greeted me with smiles and friendliness, making me feel welcomed right away.

The nursing staff, both pre-op and post-op, were incredibly kind and caring. I want to give a special shoutout to Anna, Maisa, Sam, and Leon for their exceptional care and compassion throughout my stay.

I feel fortunate to have had the best surgeon, Mr. Savva. He is truly the best foot and ankle surgeon you could ever meet! My anesthetist, Dr. Tweedie, was outstanding, making me feel at ease at all times with a very effective anaesthetic.

The theatre staff were amazing as well, ensuring that everything went smoothly and making me feel comfortable throughout the procedure.

Pharmacist Lyn provided a very thorough explanation of my take-home medications, ensuring I was well-informed about my post-operative care.

Additionally, my room was impeccably clean and neat, which made my stay even more comfortable. Food was served with love too - thanks to Noddy and Daniella. Well done to all the staff for their dedication and hard work.

I had a great experience at the Winterbourne as a day patient.
Dr Hitchcock was highly professional and knowledgeable he provided clear explanations of my procedure and made me feel at ease. I felt confident in the care I received. The operating theatre nurse that was with me throughout my procedure was attentive and reassuring.
The nursing staff was compassionate and attentive. Maisa and Jimmy were lovely, welcoming and they went above and beyond to made sure I was comfortable throughout my stay. They provided comprehensive information about my treatment and recovery. I appreciated the detailed explanations and the printed materials given to me with the direct line to the ward should I have any queries or concerns.
The room was comfortable and quiet, which helped me rest and recover. There were no curtains in the room but fortunately the bathroom was big enough to change in.
The meals provided were nutritious and varied and catered to all needs. It was very welcomed after having to fast before my procedure.
Overall my experience was a positive one. I felt well-cared for and appreciated the professionalism and kindness of the entire staff. Thank you for your excellent service.

To all the fabulous caring, professional and attentive staff who looked after me when having my knee surgery…thank you so much! You were all so kind and reassuring. Winterbourne hospital is a super place - efficient , clean, comfortable, lovely food too. Everything was explained clearly both before and after my operation. To Mr Findlay the consultant surgeon, the anaesthetist, theatre staff, the nursing staff, the catering ladies, the physiotherapists and pharmaceutical ladies plus the cleaning staff and the admin team my grateful thanks to you all. Also, thanks Ganga for your care and kindness yesterday when removing my staples. Apologies, I’ve forgotten some of your names but you’re all stars!

The ACU Team ....on behalf of Craig Parker and his partner, we would like to thank them all for the amazing treatment he received. We found all the staff to be extremely friendly, caring , and supportive before/after surgery. They looked after us both so well. The team is truly amazing and a credit to the Winterbourne. Your kitchen staff were also very attentive and nothing was too much bother. We cannot say thank you, everyone enough.

My husband was in Winterbourne hospital today for a shoulder operation. All the staff were very good, and my treatment was second to none. Nurse Anshu was exceptional in her care for him. She was very professional, kind and understanding. She took great pains to make sure we understood what was happening at all times and that we knew what to do when we got home and that we knew who to contact if we had any problems. We cannot praise her enough.

I recently spent 6 weeks here on a Physiotherapy placement and I cannot recommend the hospital highly enough. I was made to feel welcome from my first day and all the staff were very friendly and nice.
The Physiotherapy department is brilliant and the Physios have in-depth knowledge and a lot of experience.
The ward was also a great place to spend my time on placement. The nurses and the entire team of staff are lovely and make all patients feel comfortable and at ease.
The overall facility is excellent and I loved being there.

I recently had a partial left knee replacement and the whole experience from admission to operation and then overnight after care was exceptional. Every member of staff from the Operating staff to nursing staff to kitchen staff make you feel welcome and are so professional, they just couldn't do enough for me. I was obviously quite anxious and worried about having this operation done but they just settled me down and removed the worry and anxiety with their knowledge and care. Thank you everyone, you are all brilliant
