Arrived at 8:30 to be told I have to make a call to make an appointment,stayed and called to watch the receptionist look me dead in the eye and continue the call which didn’t make sense, she gave me a few good options for appointment times so agreed with 10:50 28/3/25 returned at 10:45 and used the machine to sign in.

Sat and waited till 11:45 until I got annoyed and went to the receptionist to ask what’s going on
She advised that I’m next in the queue ten minutes later my patience getting plank length thin I ask again what’s going on. Fortunately when I sat down my name came up on the the screen.

Spoke to the doctor and gave him my symptoms and he asked me what the diagnosis should be ?

After which he advised that I can only collect my prescription after thirty minutes as they don’t do the green slips.

He advised that the Mediacena pharmacist closed at nine and that I have all day to collect it (I assumed he ment the pharmacist across the road as I haven’t been to wand medical and hade to have any drugs for a very long time)

I got back at circa seven to see that the pharmacist across the road was closed and was really frustrated that I started talking to myself and building up more frustration with the view of coming back the next day and making it apparent that this isn’t on

Anyway I see a car in the clinic car park and low and behold it’s the same dr

He confirms that it’s the other pharmacist and gives me directions
Phew I thought

I drive round and they advise me that they don’t have any prescription for me

Five times
Then eight minutes later they say ah we have it.

Two minutes after the same doctor pops his head in and says hey
Have they sorted it

Giving me the only logical conclusion that he ran back in and keyed the prescription for me and then came to the pharmacy to check that it’s all sorted

This is the worse service in the totality of time and space I’m really upset and will have to leave. Since Dr Taylor departure I feel it’s best I depart as well.

Based on these reviews I think it’s best we all band together and have this place assessed for purpose as it clearly isn’t doing what it should be doing

No amount of words can adjust how I feel. Truly disappointed / annoyed with the range of emotions I’ve had just for a simple process.

This ain’t it.

Had a call back on Tuesday not from the doctor but the paramedic he was friendly but very thorough. He prescribed some antibiotics and he was spot on with in 2 days started to feel better. Never had any complaints with the wand medical center

Ive tried to make an appointment for one week, ive called at the correct times in the morning. The new male receptionist has been rude and said "i remember you" and after saying theres no appointments left he rudely says "is that it"
I frequenty look at online appointments and theyre never none.

To update 27,3,24. After leaving previous 100% accurate review I started to get somewhere with 1 doctor at the practice but unfortunately because I refused to remove previous review the practice manager Dee! Who iv tried to speak to multiple times but she's unwilling to took it upon herself to have a meeting with the partners behind my back without inviting me along and has now taken me off there books and sent me a letter telling me to find a new doctors. Thanks for nothing Dee, just as seemed I was getting somewhere. Atleast I won't have to deal with your diabolical practice anymore I suppose.27, 3,24. Rubbish practice. Docs don't follow up on tests, when you contact them back regarding results they actually lie to you. They don't update medical records or get back to you when they say they will. 8 years chasing medical issue that's progressed to point my day to day life is awful and now affecting my heart. When bought up to doctor was told its all OK so had to demand he bought up test results done at there practice weeks earlier confirming it was far from OK. All they want to do is prescribe pain killers to try mask ailments rather than sort the cause. From super healthy to being an absolute wreck of a man. Iv actually given up, if it wasn't for my children and other family members I'd just dissappear. Doctors not interested and careless. Now really affecting mental well being as don't want to leave my house, interact with people or even answer my door or phone. They'll respond saying please contact practice to discuss but as proven it gets you nowhere, just looks good for them to respond like they actually care which is laughable accept it's not funny at all.

Update : 13,02,2024. Recieved phone call from practice asking for me to remove review. Told them I won't as its 100% accurate. But also I would like to note I had an appointment with dr Aliakbar I think is his name is on Monday the 12,02,24 and was very happy with him all round. Very polite, listened to me and gave me check over relating to all my issues. Thankyou.

My son has today requested a sick note. Had a phone call of a female Dr. She was judgemental from the off saying people with epilepsy goto work. My son receives lcwr so has been assessed as to not being able to work. He has other issues going off. My son reaches out for help and gets a judgemental, unempathetic cow dealing with him. My son got so stressed out he ended up ending the phone call and not getting a sick note which he desperately needed. It's disgusting a young person with multiple issues can be treated like this by a damn doctor!
