I met Sally J podiatrist yesterday for a much needed cut of a very painful ingrown toenail. This nail had caused me much pain and agony and was literally my devil as it haunted me day and night and it was so red and inflamed it was soon a target for my 11 year old to regularly jump on ? (why!?). I tried a few local podiatrists out of sheer desperation to no avail and my mum booked me in with only a week to wait until the appt. I cannot fault the service I received from the friendly receptionist who greeted with a smile, to the lady who knew my mum from her visits and having a chat and then Sally called me with a smile and put me at instant ease. She laughed when she read my referral because I stated I wanted to take an axe and remove my own toe ? (desperate times!). She talked through the treatment plans and options. With a job that requires me to be on my feet we opted for conservative treatment and removal of the offending piece of nail. I didn't need anaesthetic as my pain barrier is pretty good and with my toe being subject to a child jumping on it I didnt think this procedure would be any more painful. In fact it wasn't painful it was relief. Sally was friendly and chatty, we had a good giggle and for me it was a really enjoyable experience. My toe already feels much better and for the first time in 3 months I am pain free! Sally showed me how to help the nail regrow and offered further appointments if needed. I left with a smile and a very happy customer/patient. Thank you to everyone at the clinic and especially Sally who is a huge asset to your team. ☺️ I would highly recommend to anyone xxx
