I got my first treatment on my left leg today 11/20/24. The treatment went well. There was very little pain. I appreciate the continued concern about my comfort. I received injections today. The procedure seem to have gone well. I was dressing in preparation to leave and found myself unable to continue dressing for about 5 or 6 minutes. I felt a little dizzy and couldn’t compose myself. It went away but will discuss with the doctor.

I recently visited Dr. Poonawala (Dr. P) at The Vein Clinic of Dallas for symptoms related to varicose veins, including pins and needles, numbness, restless legs, and leg swelling. My previous experience at another clinic (Sun Vein and Vascular) was disappointing, as I was told to simply “not pray” and that I would be fine. Unsatisfied, I decided to seek a second opinion from Dr. P.
From the moment I met Dr. P, I felt at ease. Despite my initial fear and nervousness, especially after hearing from relatives about the potential pain involved, my experience was quite the opposite. Dr. P personally conducted the ultrasound, which allowed us to understand my condition better right there and then. His excellent bedside manners, combined with his informative, knowledgeable, and supportive approach, made a significant difference.
