The Sussex Shala is a wonderful space to hire for an event. I have hired it for workshops and retreats and Nicole has been incredibly clear in her communications as well as helpful, friendly and supportive.
The feedback my guests have given about the yurt is that it is the perfect space in an idyllic setting that truly enhances their experience. I cannot recommend it highly enough. Thanks to Nicole for being simply brilliant!

I lovely space to hire with beautiful views and well equipped.
I hosted 14 yogis which fitted but maybe the clients would have preferred a little more room. Would recommend space for 12.

Will definitely be hiring again as clients loved it and the Shala has a magical vibe in the foothills of the Longman of Wilmington.

Our meditation group meet at the Sussex Shala once a month (in the evenings) and have done so since last March.

The yurt is a truly lovely space, clean and attractive with an easy to use wood burning stove as well as mats, bolsters and blankets that everyone can use. It also has the most magical view over the South Downs and the Long Man.

Nicole has been friendly, accommodating and professional throughout and administration pretty simple.

We look forward to a long and happy relationship with The Sussex Shala.

The Sussex Shala really is such a special place, offering a diverse collection of holistic classes & workshops, all held within the beautiful yurt, looking out over rolling fields, viewing the iconic ‘ Long Man’ of Wilmington. Brilliantly put together by Nicole ? I totally love holding the space @thesussexshala & teaching my yoga classes here

I hire the yurt weekly for my yoga classes and my clients LOVE IT! Uninterrupted views of The Long Man of Wilmington, and the sounds of nature around. The yurt is clean, beautifully designed and the log burner is amazing! We love the setting, it is completely different to a studio!

Such a tranquil & beautiful space. The booking process was easy, I was helped with anything I wasn’t good with ie: technology, communication was good, the yurt & other spaces absolutely stunning, clean, everything catered for a dream to hold workshops, classes, meditations.
