Attended the surgery for a routine blood test. Called into see the nurse on time. I believe the nurse was called Jane. She was especially friendly and professional and even answered a question that my husband had. My husband is my carer and has to attend with me. I cannot praise her highly enough and just wish all the staff at the surgery were like her. Thank you Jane

The lady on the phone just now told me to hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on during our interaction over the phone. This is after I had waited nearly an hour for a call back. She was also repeating in my ear everything she was reading on my notes which is all rather stressful. When a person speaks to me in that manner it comes across as being shut down. The pharmacy will inform you of one option then the surgery will disagree which is a no win situation. Especially when the prescription you need is urgent and you cannot digest your food without it. Training needed.

I have being going here for 5 years, I have always had great care, delivered with kindness and sensitivity. Appts and test results have been very efficient. Ok sometimes a bit of a wait on the phone but that's to be expected with the pressure on the nhs now.

Very very very pathetic service from this gp surgery. I continuously called them for a week for a sick note and whenever I called them they always mentioned the appointment Is full for today, call tomorrow at 8 am. I called 8 am several days and they were always busy and after 15 minutes it’s like that you are 29 in the queue and when they called you back they said the same thing as we are already fully booked. The receptionist and the admin teams are not helping at all. Very unprofessional and very bad service.

Recently had good experiences. Bit of a wait for apps but a number of tests then organised promptly, done well, one double checked and results really fast. A previous referral sorted faster than I expected. Can't fault to be fair.

This place is a disgrace! Made my dad a appointment.. travelled half a hour to get here but we got stuck in traffic on our route down as there is road works.. we was 5 minutes late (rung ahead to state that we'd be a few minutes late) was met by a rude receptionist who says the lady has now gone to lunch as they only have small slots!! We got there at 20 past 12 when our appointment was 12.15? Surely there should be more than 5 minutes each appointment. Felt as if they have just done this to prove a point and be awkward. There is no care for people here only worried about themselves and their payslip at the end of the month! No wonder people have lost faith in some nhs services.. no wonder our A&E's are packed to the max Because of places like this who just can't be arsed to do their job. Disgraceful. Not surprised this place has so many bad reviews on here.

I must say I have always had a good experience with this practice. They have always looked after me and texted me for updates re. flu jabs etc: Sometimes it is frustrating getting through to make an appointment but generally the receptionists are courteous and helpful
