My daughter and I were looking forward to our spa day at the Stratford Manor Hotel. Some of the aspects were good, but overall, we were really disappointed with the day and it didn't leave us feeling inspired to go back 😞
The hotel is easy to access from the motorway and main road, and upon arrival it looks very inviting. Inside, the main hotel is beautifully decorated with modern decor. Nothing looks old or shabby, dirty or worn. It is pleasant and clean.
All of the staff we met were very friendly and accommodating. Special mention to the lady on the reception desk who was so lovely and welcoming.
We had a look around the conference room to help prepare my daughter for her prom. The conference facilities and toilets are clean and nicely decorated. Along the corridor are soft seating areas. They have a lovely games room, and a cinema room for hotel guests.

Upon entering the spa, it seemed a very welcoming environment. Unfortunately there was a foul smell in the changing room which made being in there very unpleasant. I spoke with the spa manager later on about this and he was very apologetic and promised to look into it.
The pool area was a pleasant place to relax and the pool was a nice temperature. There were steps into the pool with a handrail, rather than a deep pool with a ladder straight in. This meant I was able to go in (I am disabled).
We went disappointed not to find a hot tub as I was sure that I'd seen a photo of one there online - my bad. We went to sit in the steam room, but were very disappointed. Inside, the room was a plastic box, with moulded plastic seating. It smelled awful in there and there was absolutely no steam. It wasn't even warm, so we went into the sauna next door. The sauna was pleasantly warm to sit in, but certainly nowhere near the temperature of a sauna. We sat in there for ages.
On the plus side, they provided us with towels and robes, and there were complimentary shower caps, and toiletries. There was also plenty of iced water with lemon available for guests to keep hydrated.
After using the pool facilities we both had a massage. The therapists were friendly and were good about accommodating my issues with certain products. We enjoyed the massages, although mine wasn't among the best I've had, but it was nice, but not enough to entice me to go back.
I feel bad not giving an outstanding review as the staff were all so lovely! But I do want to be honest.
The bit we were looking forward to to round off our day, was the afternoon tea. This was the biggest let down of all. We were shown to seating area which was clean but quite dull -it didn't seem like the lights were switched on. It was an OK environment, but didn't feel decadent like you would expect for an afternoon tea.
The food and drinks arrived, and looked fairly pleasant (although it was clear at first glance of my drink that they didn't know how to make a flat white coffee!
There was honestly not one thing that was enjoyable in the entire afternoon tea. It was absolutely horrible. The sandwich fillings were not pleasant, and the bread was a but dry on the edges (as though they had been made for a while and been sitting exposed to the air). The plate of small cakes looked pretty but they weren't nice to eat at all. They all tasted shop-bought (pre-packaged), and the mini Victoria sponge didn't have any flavour at all.) The scones were OK, but nothing special, and the jam was horrible - there was no fruit in it it was very sweet and very bland with a nasty texture - it tasted like a cheap supermarket value jam. The coffee and mocha barely had any flavour and were just very watery, and even the chocolate truffles we ordered were horrible! The chocolate was tasteless and was like eating cardboard. The chocolate didn't melt in the mouth like it should. I was shocked that there wasn't even one thing we could find to compliment on the entire table. What we ate we didn't enjoy, and we left a lot of it.
Even though the hotel and staff were lovely this experience has put me off of going back. 😞

This was the half way meeting point for me and my cousin to have a relaxing weekend. The hotel itself is spectacular with stunning views.

We had a spa day booked for some much needed relaxation. Unfortunately the steam room and the sauna were both broken πŸ˜” which meant we only had use of the swimming pool, which was lovely.

We both had a 50 minute treatment booked, but the Therapist doing my treatment only had a very gentle pressure so I didn't really feel it and she didn't touch my neck at all.

However the lunch we had, which was included was absolutely delicious and I would highly recommend the dining section to anyone.

All in all it was a lovely experience, it's just a shame the hotel didn't think to give us something extra to make up for no steam room or sauna.

We were welcomed by very polite receptionist, explained everything to the last bit and off we went to our room. Room was spacious and clean. I always rate rooms by the toilet. No complaints there, all clean no mould or broken tiles. Towels were good quality too. My daughter said the pillows were the best so far. I trust her as we had very good sleep after the Warwick Castle visit. What surprised me was electricity wall plug with two usb charging ports. There is safety box in the room and traditionally hair dryer and kettle. As a guest you can use spa and gym. There is a swimming pool with two saunas one dry one wet. There is option of massages or facial treatments. We opted for the breakfast which was offered for discounted price of Β£10 per person. Again traditional selection of food ranging from cereals to English breakfast. Food was tasty. Just to mention carpark. It's huge. I did not ask but I haven't seen any charging points. I'm sure there is more to offer but we only stayed for one night

Had a great spa break with group of 8 friends here. It included lunch, spa treatments and dinner. Had to pre book the treatments and pre-order dinner. All went seemingly and we had a great time.

Electric vehicle charging station was a bonus as some of the group had electric cars. Conveniently close to Stratford town centre .Will visit again.

I and my 2 daughters had a wonderful experience at the Hotel's Spa yesterday. The 2 massages and the 4 swims and light lunch we had were fabulous. The staff were very professional, very caring and very attentive for the whole day. The pool was cold but we were warned there had been a problem with the boiler but it didn't stop us from having an exhilarating experience. Thank you so much Stratfird Manor. We will return!

Went for a spa day in August as a gift for my birthday. The guy on reception was really friendly and helpful, lunch was great, the pool and sauna were clean... the only downside was the massage itself.
I get massages regularly and I have to say this was by far the worst I've ever received.
The woman spent most of her time over by the sink and not actually massaging my back. Whenever she returned from the sink she never slowly re-introduced her touch, at one point she startled me by just putting her elbow into my right side which was incredibly painful! It was very start-stop-start-stop and honestly I couldn't wait for it to end. I complained via the website and had no response. I definitely do NOT recommend booking a massage here but the other facilities were good.

Clean hotel rooms, very good for money quality food, pool & pingpong table, video games, pool, sauna & steam room is available free to use.

However, A bit secluded, you have to drive probably 10-15mins to the centre but I think there’s bus stop near the hotel. I’m not sure how often they come.

But overall we had fun & relaxing day. We’ll definitely coming back.
