This is how a GP practice should function; I am over 70 and I always get the NHS advice for vaccinations and usually I can see my preferred GP within a week. Reception doesn't always do small talk but they're always helpful and efficient... Thank you all !

Poor practice. Mixing new born area with adult which favorite transfer of desease. Receptionist incredibly rude on the phone. They hang on me when I asked to repeat the last digit of the phone number for the second time. They lost our booking. They ask referral for jaundice to hospital but missed sending some information. The practice also looks dirty. And the staff show little interest in patient. This is suprising after having such a wonderful experience at uclh and with at home midwives.

I would give it a 0 stars if I could. Just been turned away for being 10 mins late due to the deadlock of traffic on Highbury corner. The staff are rude and the doctor Mohammed Salam denied me treatment that I had waited 6 months for on the basis I had rushed her as fast as I can despite traffic. Do NOT use this centre for ENT treatment. Disgusting and lack of empathic behaviour for patients who live 45 mins away!

I was seen very quickly and my nurse, Grace, was a dream. I told her I was nervous about my test and she put me right at ease. She had such a sunny and professional manner, explained what she would do and made sure I felt safe and reassured. I couldn't recommend her more! An excellent nurse.

The receptionists are lovely but unfortunately the clinician I saw for my blood test seemed to be lacking understanding or training in how to provide an inclusive service to neurodiverse people. I hope that the clinician educates herself soon but in the meantime I suggest avoiding here for anyone who identifies as neurodiverse

I was told to come here for a blood test via text message, however when I got here they refused to see me without a form, which was never supplied to me. There is another person here with the exact same problem so seems like an issue they have regularly.

Edit in response to the owner - when I didn't have the correct form I called my NHS GP and they said they could email the form I needed to the front desk of this practice. The receptionists at the front desk refused to print the form, and were extremely rude about it. Instead of helping two people who were there for blood tests and only needed to print out a form they had an attitude of 'not my problem, we won't help you'. So I am keeping my 1 star review as it is well deserved.

I have been local here for over 15 years, and a patient at this practice in its various guises all that time. I've always found the receptionists friendly, the practice nurses efficient and the doctors helpful. Once I get through on the telephone, I've always managed to get an appointment within the next week or so whether phone or in person. The only slightly annoying thing is the scrolling matrix board in the waiting room to call you through to an assessment room, which you can miss if not fully attentive.

We're a couple with a toddler and we're really happy with the care we receive at the practice. Dr Hira is a very good GP, she always gets back to us on medical issues we submit on the e-consult form and when we need to be seen we've never had to wait for long. The nurses we've met have always been great. Considering how many GP practices had not been seeing patients in person for so long the Rise practice did really well in continuing care and our experience has only been positive.
