I’ve had a really good experience from start to finish with circle health. My consultant has been amazing with listening to me and referring me for scans prior to my actual treatment to ensure that he knew what he was doing.

Every hospital visit and stay has been lovely. I’ve been admitted twice and both admissions and surgeries went incredibly smoothly and I had no concerns at all about my treatment. All staff treated me with dignity and were lovely to me, answered my questions and were patient with me. I’d absolutely use circle again.

I attended the priory as part of my journey, initial being seen in out patients and diagnostics. On admission although very well informed and prepared for my major surgery I remained fearful. The staff were very supportive and compassionate. Recovering initially on Itu and then the Dudley ward. My care and treatments were excellent, faultless. Staff were committed and dedicated, going above and beyond, from support service, allied professional the nursing and surgical team all were very professional, working to the highest standard to provide an examplary experience. I will forever be in their debt and no words can express my gratitude to them all.

I had some worries about the procedure and potential complications, but this turned out to be the area that exceeded my expectations. My doctor and the operating theatre team were outstanding, providing exceptional care and reassurance. However, the experience with the nurses who prepared me for the operation left room for improvement. They encountered challenges when inserting the catheter (tried several times, still didn’t manage) which was both uncomfortable and frustrating, and had difficulty with the cannulas—out of four attempts, only one was successful. I got the impression they may have been student nurses still due to their lack of skills and bedside manners. I certainly didn’t expect this level of incompetency at that hospital.
This initial experience was unsettling and impacted my impression of the visit.
Additionally, as I was preparing to walk to the operating theatre, a nurse asked for a urine sample to confirm I wasn’t pregnant—something I hadn’t been told was required beforehand. This could have been easier addressed earlier in my visit.
On a positive note, the catering was excellent, offering a wide variety of high-quality options, and the night nurses were incredibly kind, caring, and attentive.
Overall, while my hospital experience was largely positive, there are areas in the pre-op preparation process that could benefit from refinement and additional training.
