I am a new member of staff and I love the nursing home all staff are very friendly all made me feel welcome to the home.
The management, manager, deputy are all approachable and friendly, the one thing I love is staff are greeted by them in a morning and they come round and check on every unit and resident first thing, I have never seen this before in other homes. The home is homely welcoming and I would put any of my family members in here. We care for the residents and love spending our shifts with them. We take pride in our jobs and the residents.

I couldn't recommend this care home enough! All the staff are amazing and go above and beyond caring for my dad! I have never seen him so happy and settled in a long time. Knowing that he is cared for and treated with respect means everything to us! Thank you to the old Vicarage, especially the team in the meadows! ❤️

Absolutely horrible, left to wander the corridors after the most coldest reception to collect my Nans personal items after her passing.
Staff like zombies, miserable and not an ounce of consideration or compassion.
Assistant manager was argumentative of the fact I was just left to collect my Nans personal items as “they cannot touch residents personal items” even though she had died! (Just some help to my car would have been a kind touch!) Many staff just watched me struggle!
After seeing the love and care my Nan received in colliers Croft this was the biggest down grade ever!
I’m thankful she didn’t have to live in this horrific place for long.
Shame on you do better!

My mum has been in The Old Vicarage for 3 years now. And we are now looking for another home for her.
Carers have no interest in their jobs. Provide care with headphones in completely ignoring my mum. Management are rude ignorant never reply to your emails (always an excuse) Can never get through to the home took me over 2 days for somebody to actually answer the phone, I've even driven up to see if there was anybody there providing care for my mum. Your request are never ever filtered down to the care team. Please avoid

I went to visit my Mum last night, to find her bed at the highest level it could go, my poor Mum to the left side looking very uncomfortable, when I asked the man I first saw, why my Mum was left like this- I was told that if I didn’t like it then I should move my Mum, so The Old Vicarage I will be moving my Mum- so she’s safe and I don’t need to worry ?

No I haven’t spoken to anyone as when you phone the home again you can’t get an answer- the manager or deputy manager never answers the phone- the man who was extremely rude was

We have as a family have asked for our Mum/ gran not to be in the lounge as she would be upset that anyone is seeing her this way- Ally has completely ignored our request and has had my Mum in the lounge for a full week!
