My Dad spent his last months here, was very well looked-after, and felt safe and cared for throughout - certainly better than some of the hospital wards he'd been on. We found the staff were friendly and approachable and made every effort to give him a good quality of life. Communication was very good, and we were kept informed of any issues. Yes, the decor needs a refresh, but that's not so important. Would recommend.
