I Highly rate Milton Surgery. I have been with them for 30 years and fortunately haven't needed their services very often. Recently I have needed them a little more and my Doctor has been amazing and I couldn't fault him.
The ask my GP windows are frustratingly small but that's probably the same whatever surgery you go to.

Impossible getting an appointment using the online “service”. I understand that this is due to the appointments list being filled up immediately the site opens and is not the fault of the staff, who appear friendly and competent, but this profound understaffing needs to be highlighted as it is ultimately failing its target customer.

Hard to get a appointment. Can not get past the reception team to get a appointment a lot of the time. Doctors are good, just hard to see them. Very frustrating

"I had a very bad experience at Milton Surgery. I had a serious health issue, but they are not responding to any of my requests. Whenever I try to book an appointment through Ask My GP, the system is offline, and they are not discussing my reports with me. Additionally, they have not provided any further treatment or support. It feels like the IHS fee is a waste, and I’m not receiving the care I need. This situation is not only a waste of time but also detrimental to my health."

I rarely do reviews. But I think Milton Surgery are failing with care to some extent so feel the need to leave feedback. I have been going here for nearly 30 years and have to say that some of the recent booking processes are ridiculous. I understand there may be staff shortages etc. But when people need care, there should be a way of dealing with people still. The telephone landing message points out that anything urgent, should be directed to hospital. If you need an appointment you have to call at 8 in the morning. Appointments are usually gone before 9. If its not urgent, you are guided to use askmyGP. This is only open 8-8.30am. This is not good enough, im busy at at that time. When you are in, the staff are great, but getting there is difficult. I dread to think how anxious it must make the elderly feel.

Been registered with Milton surgery for a few years. Always there to help and assist whenever it’s needed. Had to use them a few times over the last month and their service is fantastic. Ask my gp works perfectly, the reception staff I’ve dealt with are very helpful and each doctor that I’ve dealt with has been friendly, caring, professional and efficient.!

If zero stars was a option I would choose it. Ask my gp goes online at 8, I submit my request at 8:03. Yet somehow I get a email saying today's capacity is full and they will get back to me in 5 business days. How can it be full in 3 minutes? This is a regular occurance, I only go to the doctors a handful of times a year yet its near enough impossible when ou need them.

Truly one of the worst doctors surgeries I've used.

Firstly the doctors are great, most GPs are.

However the administration of the surgery is terrible. The staff are rude and unable to deviate from a process slightly. The amount of times I've had prescriptions held up because they haven't been authorised a week after request, or they've been approved but not sent to the pharmacy. The Ernest is on you to liaise with the surgery and pharmacy. The problem is the prescription line is open for one hour in the morning and one in the afternoon. For a working individual this is very difficult to do.

In the five years of using them, nothing has changed.

Additional, their IVR still references sickness due to COVID-19. It's possible that there's been a bit of it at the surgery, but it's more likely that this is a hangover from the pandemic times and they haven't changed it in at least a year.
