I had a balayage done with Ellie Hall and couldn’t recommend her enough!!!! My hair is naturally black and I’ve always wanted to go lighter, a lot of other salons could never really match what I wanted to go for but Ellie quite literally hit my reference photo perfectly!❤️ lovely person too and the salon is great x

Every time I have my hair done at The Mill, I come away obsessed! Such a gorgeous salon and team, who make the experience from start to finish so enjoyable. My first experience was a colour correction after a terrible bleach job elsewhere, and I was so impressed and happy with the result that I’ve never been anywhere else since. No matter what you want doing, you’ll be in safe hands with the best of the best results 💛

Amie and the team are so welcoming and the salon is gorgeous. Amie always listens to exactly what I want and has worked with my hair to get it into good condition, I’ve struggled with some dryness and brassiness in the past but now my hair is thicker and shinier all thanks to Amie’s consistent work on it! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a hairdresser in Sheffield!

I've been coming to the mill ever since I moved to Sheffield 3 years ago.

Amy, my stylist, is fantastic. She is a wonderful colorist and always does her utmost to get the colour I want without damaging my hair.
She's also excellent at cutting and styling.

I often change my hair and ask for some alternative technically challenging styles and Amy is never phased by this and considers carefully the best way to get the effect I want while also ensuring my hair will be healthy.

She's very knowledgeable about colour and products and how to use them effectively.

Amy is also just generally lovely and great fun, so I always look forward to getting my hair done.

More generally, the atmosphere of the shop is great and all of the staff are friendly and welcoming whilst also being professional.
Each of the stylists and trainees have a great rapport with their clients.

Id recommend this salon to anyone who is looking for a great place to get their hair done in Sheffield.

She is always honest and listens and does her best to meet my (sometimes unrealistic) needs, which is always more than enough! The best salon in Sheffield !!
I’ve been going to The Mill Hair studio to see Amy (@wickedwitchoftheweft_) for a few years now.
Prior to starting my hair journey with Amy, my hair was grim, long, thin and lacked shine. The colour was a mismatch of dodgy highlights and box dye and just generally in a terrible state.
Amy has TRANSFORMED my hair - every time I go, she asks exactly what I want and creates just that, she is honest about the condition of my hair and how much I really SHOULD get chopped off, but then always does the littlest amount that I request!
Now I’ve been going for a while, my hair is in incredible shape, I barely have split ends anymore, I feel confident having my hair down and just feel a million dollars when I come out of the salon!
Amy got my hair wedding ready before Amie did my bridal party on the day!
I honestly couldn’t recommend this salon, and Amy (and Amie!!) enough! Everyone is so kind and welcoming, the vibes are ALWAYS on point and the skill of these stylists is unmatched!!
10000000/10 from me and will always be my salon of choice!!
No wonder they have such a loyal customer base when the free therapy and incredible products and talent is so reasonably priced!

Before I went to the Mill Hair Studio I hadn’t had my hair professionally cut in years. Due to a few surgeries on my head I also had hair that was in varying lengths, It was in a right state, to say that Amy has transformed my hair is an understatement. Gone are my at home dodgy dye jobs and instead she has made me feel incredible. The cut, colour, style, quality are all amazing and the staff are friendly, welcoming and literally cannot do enough to make your experience a fantastic one.
