The service at this practice is absolutely fantastic. I had to contact the surgery for an emergency appointment at short notice. The receptionist who took the call was brilliant, she didn’t know the immediate answers I needed but assured me she would find out and and call me back, all of which she did in under half an hour! Within another hour I had a phone call from a GP, from a nurse and I had an appointment (an additional one for them as there were fully booked) arranged for a time that fitted in with me having to leave work for an hour, in a profession where time off at short notice is very difficult. I have no idea why this practice has any negative reviews, the staff and the service are a credit to the NHS!

The best GP I have ever had. Much easier to get appointments than my previous GP. Appointments are available on the day, twice a day. The advanced practitioner nurse and female GP are wonderful. The receptionists are helpful. All staff compassionate and listen very well to your health concerns. You can take your own blood pressure in the reception which is empowering. Its self sign in, so you only have to face the GP when you're feeling under the weather. The female GP I saw helped me with a medical complaint my previous GPs from a previous practise had failed to for over 3 years.

On 13th February 2023, I telephone the surgery and enquired how I can access my records online, told I need to complete a consent form. To;d the agent I would come in now. Completed the 20 minute walk and enquired about the form. Once I was provided with the form I told the receptionist I wanted to submit now. Told at this stage I need to provide photographic id, which I was not told about in my first contact in the phone. Enquired how long it will take and advised the GP is very busy and it would take several weeks. Left the reception feeling I was in the way. Returned back to the reception again today. Form was looked at and no I'd was requested. Told it would take 28 days in this interaction. No I'd was asked for even though I had my photo id of my driving license. This sort of ecprence routinely happons. I would rather the staff find out the right information than guess and give wrong info. Not happy

You can rarely get through to make a same day appointment and when you do sometimes you are given an appointment at a different surgery (often The Lister in Peckham). Practice was never that good but in recent years has gone even more downhill, with some receptionists being nice and others unhelpful. Some doctors good, some mediocre to say the least. Seem to be a high sickness/absence rate amongst medical staff.

Over the years, I have had many issues with this place. Today, the receptionist was extremely rude (as usual) but the nurse I saw for the purposes of my youngest daughter's jabs was marvellous - she even had a bottle of bubbles to blow afterwards to distract both of my little girls and was incredibly kind to us. She even helped me with my double buggy. Lovely experience. It would be 5 stars but for the receptionist

Second data protection issue with this practice in two years - most recently sending sensitive medical reports about another patient with a similar name to mine to my insurer. The practice seems to go out of its way to hire great ambassadors for terrible service with some of the rudest front of house staff I have encountered.

Quite a while ago I brought my little daughter to visit the doctor in the morning because she had been coughing for 6 months non stop. The doctor dismissed me as if I was wasting her time because the children didn't have a temperature. I think if a child has been coughing and breathing heavily for 6 months it's worth having a quick look to make sure there isn't anything in the lungs. The quick check must have taken 10 minutes in total, I don't feel I wasted anyone's time. It wasn't a great experience.

There’s a reason why the rating is so low and it really is because of the receptionist. One in
particular has been shockingly rude and dismissive.
Today I rang as was advised from the 111 hotline to speak with my gp so they could monitor a symptom that was concerning. After waiting 20mins for it be finally answered, got the rude receptionist who instead of listening was so quick to try and get me off the phone. I told her that my assessment was sent over from 111 and I needed to speak with gp. She tells me that they can’t do anything and I should just call 111. I said I already did so and was told to call to speak with my gp within 6 hours. She then tells me well I can’t come in to see one so...... Where did I say I wanted to come in to see one I had to speak loudly before she hung up on me to tell her that all I needed was a phone consultation with a gp and that she has zero training to dismiss what emergency services has told me to do! Eventually got a call back from gp who said will monitor my symptoms but I’m still so livid.
Why work front of house with patients when you have to deal with people who are in pain and frustrated? Imagine all the other patients this receptionist has put at real risk for more pain... or worse.
