Absolutely hopeless, blame each other for basic admin mess ups, have resulted in a years wait for a referral because my email was missed off of the referral form, the referral should have taken six weeks!! They also lost paperwork twice and I’ve had to personally hand it in…twice!!
Complete sham, nowhere near enough competent staff.
Honestly, look else where if you want a GP surgery!!

Absolute joke of a gp staff that can't speak English and don't understand what you say to them problems with getting appointments, medication or advice and a massive waste of my time
Edit: I was going to raise my rating because they have been helpful lately but they just wasted a load of my time by not giving the correct information and booking me an appointment without telling me that I needed to get my medication (b12 injection) before hand that's over an hour and a half wasted of my day

This is the second bad review I’ve written for this practice, this time on behalf of my dad. Went in for pains in his side, told to have a blood test, they lost his results, for him to have another one to then be left waiting. To then sit in front of a clinician, not a GP who started telling him he may have prostrate cancer, fatty liver over which could be cancerous and kidney cancer. When he called for a second appointment to clear up the situation when he found out she was a clinician and not a registered or licensed GP who didn’t like that he questioned her over it and hung up on him, this is both unethical practice and illegal practice. To give a diagnoses with out licensing is illegal to then not deal with said diagnoses through legal means is malpractice, this clinician should be struck off for playing god with some ones life. He put in a complaint, spoke to a different real doctor who then sent him for referrals for all of this. Leading on to the other day when he called for an emergency feeling dizzy and sick after a prostate biopsy, said they couldn’t see him for a week, he pretty much passed out at work the following day, ended up in A+E with instructions both sent to Marlow park electronically and via my dad for an emergency appointment. Called this morning to be told none availability even though it’s been specified emergency, dad looses his temper and his patience , rightly so, they threatened to have him arrested for abuse if he shows up on site to follow through with the Meddocs hospital instructions. I am now stepping in as his next of kin to get this sorted as this is not the first time this practice has cause issue of medical neglect in my family. I’m moving his treatment to another practice provider after months of telling him to do it, this morning I made him do it. And going through the formal complaints process against this practice. This practise if it has not already is going to kill some one and it won’t be an accident, it will be deliberate negligence and malpractice.

Some of the receptionists there are racists. How?
1. After doing ID checks on me by taking my DOB etc, I was given a blood test form on request. Same time, there n' then, I requested for my previous blood test result; I was asked to give a proof of my photo ID. I did give that immediately then was given my BT result.

2. Having undergone the above, the receptionist denied me access to the treatment I've been getting for years in my former surgery by refusing to look through my medical records for confirmation.

In view of the above, it's worth leaving this surgery considering the receptionists attitudes towards their patients.

Worst GP ever. You call them 8am in the morning to book an appointment and wait for 30 mins to get through even though you're number one in the queue! Very strange! After 30 mins of waiting they gonna tell me “I’m afraid is no slot” and I’m calling them continuously for 4 days. How is possible? The UK medical system is very very low, I can’t imagine.

Up until today, I had always viewed this surgery as one of the better ones.
I found out today that there were no GPs present at all, all day. How often is this happening?
This was revealed to me after having to chase the respiratory team on my mobile infront of reception as reception told me they'd had no correspondence requesting urgent medication for my relative.
So after speaking on the phone to a lovely lady who then emailed the surgery and listing it as urgent due to debilitating existing conditions along with a chest infection and now covid, the receptionist informed me that yes they had now received the email but no prescription will be ready now until tomorrow.
When I enquired why (they had literally watched me on the phone trying to get this email for urgent prescription), I was told it was too late now.
I asked what time the last GP had left and was informed that no GPs had been in today at any point.
So having known all along that I would never have been able to get the prescription today, they said nothing, watched and waited, then had a good old nosey at the email before informing me of this.
Where's the basic logic and decency gone?
There's two other receptionists who are always lovely and helpful. Hope they haven't left as they were the only decent thing this place had going for it.
It all started going down hill when Dr Brophy left. A doctor who actually cared about his patients.
