I was annoyed to be coming here for an appointment when I live by a hospital. The moment you walk in the atmosphere is totally different, staff are polite and seem to like they job. Free tea and coffee, and all of a sudden, I want to upgrade to private health care. Beware the glaring nurse who always side eyeing you in the waiting room crack a smile it free 😀

I received physio therapy from Maureen. I found her to be extremely experienced, supportive, kind and helpful. She’s listened to me and explained the exercises given to help me build strength in my knee after having a knee replacement. I highly recommend Maureen if you need physio. Thank you Maureen.

My experience at the Manor hospital was excellent from start to finish.
I arrived on the 13th December for a full knee replacement, i got treated with the upmost care, my wife stayed with me all day, she also got treated very well.
The day after my operation I started my physio with Maureen Wicks, she made me feel at ease, and explained in detail to myself and my wife all the exercises I had to do step by step.
Maureen is very professional in her work which made my healing progress easier to manage.

I had my first TKR in Nov, with second due in March. Whilst I wont make comparisons with NHS as it is a totally unfair comparison. - AND I have had great experiences there - I have to say my stay was excellent. Mr Edge took great care of my knee and was very honest about what was needed from me; I appreciated his clarity. The nurses were all terribly kind and supportive and took time to chat; Nikki made me lovely breakfast baps and had a great natter and Maureen the lead Physio has been fantastic. She has pushed me hard but also given me so much encouragement and belief, which had made my recovery and future aspirations seem very possible. Let’s hope knee no2 goes as well.

I recently had a total knee replacement at the Manor.

During my stay, all staff were professional, friendly, supportive and genuinely caring. The whole process was slick and refined.

It was apparent that the Manor has a tight knit, efficient and close team of staff who all know each other. Was great to see the staff relaxed and available.

Carol on the reception desk was absolutely amazing. She made me feel so calm and alleviated all my fears and worries . Mr Mahran was also wonderful . He is the best consultant I’ve ever had . As soon as I met him I felt relaxed and comfortable. He really put me at ease and I knew I’d be taken care of .

Just like last time when I was with you for the first hip replacement, everyone was so kind and professional and now I've had both hips replaced, everything I was told in my initial consultation, appears to be coming to fruition. I now have my life back and am truly grateful. For me both stays at the Manor seemed more like a nice restful holiday, with good company and wonderful food. Bless you all and thankyou.
