I've always found the surgery very professional and staffed with caring people.
I know some people have experienced trouble getting a doctors appointment but that's a nation wide issue and not just here. There are simply too many people moving into the area for the size of surgery.
When I've needed to book for a regular blood test they have always found me a slot- even at short notice.
It is really convenient to have a pharmacy on site which saves you trekking into town.
Easy parking.

The NHS gets a lot of bad press and sometimes rightly so, but my GP practice has never let me down, efficient, kindness itself and non judgmental.You should all be proud of yourselves and a big thankyou from me

After suffering for several weeks (like most patients do). I eventually tried to get a doctors appointment. I rang at 8.30am and was 21st in line. Waited over 45 minutes to be told there were appointments but the receptionist couldn't give them out today (monday). I would have to phone tomorrow and try to get one. So another day of suffering and then hopefully I will get lucky the next day. Not very helpful, abrupt and not sympathetic at all. I've given one star so I can post this but I don't think they should have even one for the service they give. If they have appointments they should give them to people.

The new phone system seems to not work properly first thing in the morning saying there's nobody available and then hanging up but bare with it until 9.30 ish and it'll work, and when it does work there's not usually a long wait to get an answer. Also sometimes the receptionists sound like they need their coffees in the morning (hence why I now make my appointments on the NHS app), but face to face the receptionist is lovely , I've been with this practice since I was born and never had an issue with the doctor's or med staff here.

Dr K. Lawton is honestly one of the most lovely and caring doctors, I have ever dealt with.
She always listens and actually takes into consideration whatever you tell her! Doesn't dismiss your symptoms and worries and does her absolutely best to explain, comfort and reassure.
I'm so grateful to have a Dr like her.

Rude recepcionist, She think she know more then doctor asking questions and then do not allowed me to answer them... so its impossible to get appointment... i hope person who give her job will se those reviews and review personell
